Nice time/resorce managemement game with trains. Easy to get into, with enough optional challenges to provide a good range of difficulty.

One of the classics, this is probably my favourite Final Fantasy game.

The game is great, when it works, but constant issues make the game unplayable for extended periods of time, whether it's having the commentators going silent almost every game, or objects like the crowd, players or the bloody court disappearing altogether, CTDs while loading on the loading screen. And those are only the minor things.

There's also issues with the servers, "bugfix" updates that seemingly fix nothing but your ability to successfully launch the game - i.e. CTDs about 2 seconds after the game is launched.

To be fair, 2K sports games on pc have always been really buggy in many ways, but this year the variety and consistency of the bugs are pretty damn egregious. This is the first year that I have actually been frustrated by NBA2K.

I would advise caution when purchasing this game if you are anything close to an impatient person, because this game can and at times WILL test your resolve. I per-ordered the game and I am really disappointed in myself for not waiting for a sale.

However, all that being said...

When it works, the game is great.

Really good puzzle-platformer with an intriguing, dark, but ultimately heart warming story about a family in shambles, and a daughter that will do anything she can to bring them back together. Plays really smoothly, and the puzzles, while not challenging until maybe the last few of the game, are very logical and well thought out.

Saints Row the Third on Steriods.

Basically the same game mechanics as the first game, but now you get to dominate the boss. Super powers make the traditional way of getting around (cars, helicopters and such) pretty much superfluous because you are such a boss.

There are instances in which you don't have access to your super powers that break up the pace of the game a bit too much for my liking, but at least they make sense in the context of the game.

The game is super fun, but also really easy. If you're looking for a challenging game, you might want to look elsewhere. If you're looking to spend a few hours in the shoes of a god, this game is worth checking out.

Diablo, who?

I haven't actually played this game on steam yet, but I put in a few hundred hours before it got here.

Basically, this, above all others, is the game that proves there is still life left in the ARPG genre. Full of fresh ideas in almost every facet of the game. The magic systemm, the skill tree, the commerce system, it all is done with a fresh take. The atmosphere is nice and dark, the game rarely has any serious difficulty spikes, and the devs forgot to (decided to forego) any pay to win model, which gave me a serious sigh of relief.

If you're a fan of ARPGs, give this a go, you won't regret it.

Good story with a lot of interesting elements that never seem to live up to their ambitious concepts. Kinda has the same free flow combat of the Arkham games, but this time, you get to create your own combos within a somewhat restricted framework. The city is great, at times beautiful, though it feels a little bit like it was never fully realized; the game is very linear without much room to explore, which I feel is a lost opportunity.

Good game, if you don't mind playing Arkham City again. Essentially a carbon copy of the last game, but with a new story That being said, the same great combat mechanics. It's still fun to string together huge combos, and flying around the city is still super smooth. Besides the lack of any significant improvements over the previous game, the largest complaint I have about this game is the absence of Mark Hamill as the Joker. The new voice actor just doesn't even compare.
