So far Megaquarium has prooven to be immensely detailed when it comes to the creatures you are housing. If you remember zoo tycoon, you remember that it only asked for a certain ammount of water/land+rock/bushes. This game goes more into detail here. There are beginner fish who dont need much, but pretty quickly you discover fish who NEED to live in a swarm of at least 4 fish, or who cant be housed with other of their kind or who cant be housed with crustaceans or who need a specific temperature, ammount of hiding space or cant be housed with other fish who eat the same foodsource. The main challenge of the game is to make tanks with a few different species in them, whilst still meeting all those requirements. It has a campagn mode and a sandbox mode. And sometimes I will just sit down in my muray tank and watch the noodles swim by up close.
