What's not to love ?

Buy during discount. The story seems shorter but more coherent than the others.

PROS : decent gameplay
storyline seems good. just park your brain in the garage & come with your guns.
you get to waste your annoying, sanctimonious team mates who screwed you over. especially Adler & Hudson. choose carefully.


CONS :
Cant seem to customise gun loadouts unlike BO 2.
need to use brains to figure out clues to some parts of it. i'm here for the gunplay, not wordplay.
can't go waste those suspects in the side mission
no "No Russian" mission. could have had a European / American version
couldn't find under barrel grenade launcher to use for campaign.
couldn't find RPG to use on team during final mission. darn it !
Shooting Adler in the face with it would have been sooooo good.

YES ! Black Ops series continues its mind boggling antics of jumping back & forth storyline. (thank god, minus the headache inducing flashback with a zillion flashing lights & images) Look, we know that Mason is a nutcase, no need to send us to the nuthouse too.... Customised guns are a fun addition to the game.

Totally died like a noob in the squad command battles. No idea what the hell was going on. Jumping into 1st player is a crazy experience. ( from top down view)

watch out : AI squad mates will push you into the line of fire just to go where they are programmed to go. careful when taking cover while pushing forward especially. one moment you are behind cover at the corner of a corridor, next thing, you got wasted because the AI kept bumping you into the open to take your spot. lol

Flashback cutscenes gave me a headache. ouch....
Gameplay is hectic.
Scripted events is rather frustrating due to dying repeatedly without knowing timing of movement.
Colour is rather dull compared to other CoD series like MW. Part of the style ?
Overall good if you get it on a steeeeeeep discount.

Play this with John Wick soundtrack on for maximum fun !

Pretty good storyline for this type of game. A bit short campaign. Get it while on sale, it's worthwhile in my opinion.

Wooo hooo ! great stuff. Grind your way past the basic 50Ton mechs, then have fun laying waste to enemies in single salvos. Love it when the enemy AI is screaming that we are blowing up carparks, apartments, & other stuff. ahahahahaha

Commit intergalactic war crimes by blowing up warehouses full of coffee !

Fantastic fun for all. Highly recommended for the action and dialogue. Liked this even more than SW3.

Run and gun version of Shadow Warrior. * Finished it. finally. *
Less enjoyable by far compared to 1 & 2 for me.

Gameplay is different. Lots and lots of platform timing sections. ( tooooooo much) Some will find it easy, not so much for me. Dialogue is typically silly as per Shadow Warrior series.

5 hours and I am only halfway through, keep having to replay sections due to dying in a haze of explosions. hahahaha. You might get lucky and get through in a jiffy in sections due to enemy spawns. or get stuck when an enemy you need to kill falls off the map and you can't find it. Finished it in 13 hours.

I hope they release some dlcs for Shadow Warrior 2 or 1, I liked those 2 games. Stupid fun games.

Takes some time to get used to the iffy game logic. Overall likeable game

Sometimes objects are hidden under other items and you are expected to install it even though it is physically impossible (logically). Then trying to reach it by going into crew positions is another logic puzzle.

Or if item A is not installed first, B cannot be installed (but on the other half of the tank, it is already installed, lol)

Installation of props ( machine guns etc) is a convoluted process. Just let us install it like a part, omg....

Take it like a puzzle game with tank parts as the puzzle, then you will enjoy it. trying to process it entirely like an actual piece of work, you will be crying...
