There are loads of free-to-play MMOs around, but Spiral Knights offered something new.

Simple but engaging combat made the gameplay of this game very easy to understand, and what's not explained you'd pick up quickly.

Sadly the game has died down for the lack of game updates and the playerbase leaving cause of it.

Dealing with themes like religion, racism, and xenophobia, Columbia is a richer and more nuanced setting than even Rapture, and the unveiling of the city’s culture is masterfully executed.

Freedom Planet is a wonderful Sonic the Hedgehog-esque game that mixes nostalgia with something new.

The quirky characters, fantastic levels, and interesting story will make you not want to put the game down. Each character has their own advantages and disadvantages, encouraging you to test them all out.

In the end, it's the whole package, and it's worth picking up.

If you judge it as a sonic game it’s disappointing but if you judge it for a good platformer it’s not a bad game by any means but there’s better and worse sonic games out there.

That said it rarely delivers the speed you crave and as a sonic fan I was disappointed about this.

We get the impression that Sonic Team wanted Forces to be the Best Sonic Game Ever, with a Greatest Hits package of everything good in the series, but they didn’t have the time, money or talent to accomplish this.
The 2D sections control poorly, and the 3D sections sport the same problems that the series has had since Sonic Adventure – such as dying if you don’t play the level exactly as the designer intended.

There’s fun to be had, but even then Forces feels so cheap and abrupt that you’ll be finished with it entirely in 4 hours.

It’s not the worst 3D Sonic game, but in trying to do everything Sonic Team didn’t really accomplish anything. Next time, stick to just Generations 2 or Colours 2.

This game is the best possible thing they could have done for the Sonic franchise.
It pays homage to fan favourites throughout the entire Sonic timeline while simultaneously picking up the pace with fresh content that, for the first time in quite while, looks like a step in the right direction.
Though i wish Sega could have had a broader spectrum by adding more levels rather than just putting all of those side quests.
