I purchased this game with high hopes, i got the gold edition for 70$ from a reseller.
The game is about as repetetive as a game can be, extremely interesting for the first 30-40 hours but after that it gets very very boring.
The game consists of 3 mechanics, the siege mechanic, story quests, and the sneaky captain assimilator/killer bit. It has you constantly jumping back and forth between the three the as far as i've gotten in the game. There are a few cool story missions in the game so far but other than that you do the same things over and over. Go to a new area, kill/assimilate or insert captains from the battlepacks the game gives you (which are an absolute joke). Then you take the fortress and game over for that area.

Incredibly boring after you've done a few areas, i've completely lost interest in the game.
Purchase maybe if it goes on sale for 40$ or less, definately not worth full price.
