Too much ambition in too small of a studio. They either should've scaled back the scope of the game and focused on core gameplay aspects or scaled up the amount of developers to work on it. I had more fun playing the source mod Dystopia in 2012 than playing this in 2021. It's probably going to take them several months, if not years of DLCs and add-ons to flesh out the game to completion.

Honestly, this game seems like it should be rebranded as an Early Access title more than anything. The gameplay is very barebones, and If I had known it would be this bad, then I wouldn't have bothered to pre-order in the first place. I hope the game gets proper and *free* updates, not blocked behind a $15 paywall, as reflected in other PDX games, but seeing as how Paradox operates, it isn't a guarantee. I don't recommend this game in its current state at all, and instead recommend to wait and see how the development for this game goes BEFORE purchasing.

EDIT: I am refunding this game, and I would recommend anyone else that was unfortunate enough to purchase it to follow suit.

The game is fun. If the game isn't fun, why bother? In short, do not buy this game until paradox reverses/fixes the changes made in the 1.26 patch which renders most gameplay/strategies unplayable, along with virtually disabling some achievements on top of it. Paradox, you really screwed up on this one.

An overall amazing game in progress. It shows much promise for still being in the Alpha stages!
