For $60 this game was amazing. For $10 it's even better. Forge and Theater will I do miss them will come later and I appreciate them taking the time to make it right. (plus you can just turn on forge mod with some hex editing) As someone who's spent countless hours playing Halo I may not be purchasing the entire collection (looking at you Halo 4) I can highly recommend all of the games in the collection (yes even Halo 4).

It's fun if even just one of the shows appeal to you. I enjoy the game personally and I bought it at launch. It's intense when two people who know how to play the game are going at it. It's beautiful when in combat even on medium. The models are stiff and the facial animations aren't so good. The cutscenes are pretty wack and the story is typical but you'll enjoy it if you like the combat. The combat can get tedious and to be honest I can only enjoy a few hours if that at a time. It's also good fun with a friend.

About that.

There is no lobby system. The only way to invite a friend to a match is by creating a friendly match with invites turned on. Then YOU have to pick YOUR character's and map preferences. Then you can invite them and wait for them to do the same. Then after all this you can fight for about fight for about 5 - 10 minutes depending on round settings and it's great. Especially if it's an even match.

And after all that when the end game screen pops up... THERE IS NO REMATCH BUTTON. THERE IS ALSO NO REMATCH BUTTON IN ONLINE PLAY. (Though to be honest with the player count there are a FEW rematches.)

Despite all that, I think the game is great and I will recommend it if you want something mindless or something competitive.

Nosgoth is an unbalanced, yet very fun to play, free to play Action game made by my second favorite developer.
The reason it's unbalanced is that it's very obvious that the vampires are much easier to play as than the humans. The first two vampire classes are similer to the hunter and charger from Left 4 Dead in that one can pounce on an enemy (this ability can be swapped with another) and can charge multiple enemies (this can also be swapped). The humans however must stick together in order to kill vampires, as the vampires all have stagger and evade abilities. Of course to balance the evade abilites, their attacks are disabled, giving them a chance to escape from a losing team battle and regroup. Humans however will have a very difficult time escaping from a losing team battle, as vampires are basically faster than a sprinting human. The humans are very fun to play as however, as all their attacks are very satisfying to hit. A fully drawn bow from the Scout will deal a lot of damage to a vampire, but takes 2 seconds to fully draw. Any less will result in the same amount of damage as just clicking to fire. Overall the game comes down to who can do better on the human side, as more than likely Vampires will win. This is due to the Vampires just being better by themselves, while humans require teamwork to pull a victory.

The F2P model works just fine with temp weapons. The gold can be earned in 3-5 games depending on how well you do and if you win. So about 15-20 games to unlock one permanent item, which is not that bad considering that all abilites and skills are only slightly different from eachother, with the exception of the secondary abilities which change the class durastically. For example the Scouts default ability is to cause a rain of arrows, this can be exchange for a grapling hook, which can lift you up to a rooftop, where the Scout can excel. For the vampires, changing their primary abilites is a game changer. By deafult, the Reaver (hunter like) has a pounce ability which will deal about 200-400 on impact (depedning on your pounce distance) and 200 over 2 seconds. This can be changed for a roundhouse kick, that deals 375 damage and can hit multiple enemies. If you really want an item you have 2 methods of approach. Save up the gold to buy the item for 7 days. Then save enough to buy the item permanently. Or you can spend money on the in game currency which will unlock it permanently as well. You can also get boosters for your gold from daily rewards or you can buy them with in game currency. Skins however, can only be earned (randomly from games) promotion packs (awarded every five levels with the class) or at level 25 with each class. You can buy them with the in gane currency aswell.

Overall, Nosgoth is very fun to play and has very interesting mechanics. The imbalance in the skill between humans and vampires because of the teamplay aspect. If you dont play as a team, you will lose. 8/10
