I didn't receive the game for free, I don't know why Steam forces it to say that. I bought the game on release and like many couldn't stand the bugs. I recently came back after hearing that the game had been updated and couldn't believe it was somehow a worse experience than I remember. The addition of NPCs to the world completely undermines the narrative and atmosphere, two things the game did right on initial release. The bugs and server issues haven't been addressed at all. The monetization is downright predatory, worse than most F2P titles but, like I said above, many people paid full price for this at release. I don't know how they managed to make the game worse in four years of updating, but they somehow did and expect players to continue paying them to make it worse.

The best Starship Troopers game and it isn't even a Starship Troopers game.

I like the funny monkey with the machine gun.

Incredibly well made for a fan project. Could be a legit sequel or DLC.

A real Titan of a game.

All the tedium of a hardcore Ark server without the fun.

Predatory monetization. That's all that can be said. I've barely been able to enjoy over half the game's content since every couple of animals carries the price tag of a full DLC. Sad that this is the state of gaming in 2023.

Don't support Wizards of the Coast. They only see you as an obstacle between them and your (their) money.

"Labor of Love"? Seriously? I have over a hundred hours in this game and it's definitely not. "Rushed Release" is the only award it deserves.
