Honestly though, this is a great time killer, good for those days where you have nothing to do, a great recommendation

I have used this software for exactly 100 hours, and I realised I never once reviewed it, but here we go

This is a basic run of the mill video editing software, good enough really, it isn't your every day Adobe Premier, but cheap enough and simple enough to get the job done if you are simply looking to compile videos together, use filters, basically it does what it says the software does on the steam page more or less

Really fun and a welcoming change compared to the first, allowing us to build a house from scratch and including a sandbox mode is the best thing ever!

Career mode has become much more fun, knowing you can do so much more with this engine, I highly recommend you check this one out.

I still love the first game, holds a special place in my heart, but this one will grow on me and it does actually feel like a house flipper game once you really get into it

A very immersive ghost hunting game with exorcisms, this one feels the most realistic in terms of gameplay and I highly recommend you check it out

Several locations to check out, some locations have multiple houses/structures where you can find a different haunting, you can even have multiple ghosts in one investigation as long as you've taken notes back in the office, the research system is really good, finding little bits of info hidden in the map that will aid you during the exorcism stage and discovering the name of the ghost, each ghost appears to have it's own lore, some of them sad but it pulls you in and makes you want to know the full story.

Dying isn't a thing in CSPPI but you can be knocked unconscious by angry demons, in the process, losing power to the piece of equipment you are holding, making you go back to the van to replace the batteries and losing some evidence too, so be on your guard!

All in all, I enjoy this game, the atmosphere it has, and the gameplay style makes it the most realistic imo

169 hours and counting, feels like it should be higher knowing how much fun I have had since day 1. This game despite all of my knowledge of ghost behaviour and equipment traits still makes me nervous in each investigation, nervous i'd lose my equipment if i die that is.

Just over one year later the game is STILL worth the money and time. Go ahead and buy it if you haven't yet already and remember this, try investigating smaller locations first before you try the large ones.

Doesn't even launch, just freezes on a black screen. I have tried nearly every possible fix mentioned online but I have had no luck. But what did I expect from an early access game?

To sum it up, the game is terribly made, much worse than JC2 & 3. The default keyboard and mouse controls are awful, the tutorial level didn't teach me anything. The physics & overall look of the game is very janky.

Please, just play JC2 or 3..

Great fun, the addition of the workshop was the best idea.

Can be quite taxing on your CPU though, but there are some mods in the workshop that can improve FPS.
