First impressions after less than an hour, definitely going to binge this game. I love the art, music and the parody of other RPGs from the YouTube series is still found in this game.

I'm a sucker for pixel art and the VLDL characters I've been watching for years.

If you love Undermine or Dead Cells then then you'll probably enjoy Hades. If you're into Greek mythology and the humour of the chaotic relationships (like Stephen Fry's Mythos book) then you'll also probably enjoy the story even more.

Hades is so far my favourite rogue-like as of 2025, after only about 3 weeks and 130ish hours gameplay.

It's a beautiful game in graphics, story, music and voice acting.

Works perfectly on Proton Experimental without any extra changes (with Fedora 38).

This game is awesome. It punishes you for killing and makes you solve each level like a puzzle with mostly stealth tatics.

The original game "Styx Master of Shadows" is a good game but a lot of gameplay mechanics (such as ledges) have been improved on a lot in this sequel.

The story in both is fantastic and there's a good bit of humor in the death screens in the sequel.

If you like stealth and puzzle sovling, with minimal focus on combat this is a great game.

Great game and would like to say I have been able to complete it but I've lost all motivation to finish it. After playing 53 hours of the game I have had to repeat one 10 hour session of gameplay because of corrupt saves, I tried diasabling cloud syncing and again lost 21% of progress, 76% to 55% complete which was probably more than 10 hours.

All that assided the game is fun, I liked the story but if the saves become corrupt it's really really boring redoing everything.
