With the recently released Spearhead 1944, this cDLC is the best you can find for Arma 3.

ARMA 3 is a must have game for all MILSIM enthusiasts around the world. It has been so much enhanced by the community that is now a node for various universes and play styles.

Contributor to this game since 2007, my point of view is certainly oriented.

I had not played the game in ages, because of real life events, and I only recently got back at it.

It was like the early days, smelling powder, petrol, burning oil and tyres, screams engulfed in flames, all at once on the tracks, either for racing, death racing or arena combat.

This DarkWind, a game without pity where your gangers life costs less than a good armor and weapons on your cars.
You will have hard times, defeats and victories. You will struggle. I always do, but Sam keep saying this is due to my play style... :)))

What makes this game good is the vision behind it and the community. Such people are rare. They are dedicated and always ready to help.

Sure, you can blame the graphics and the mechanics, but the fun is here and someday there will be a new version with a modern engine, so keep believing in you, your gang and Sam's and players community faith for this game.

I liked the game a lot on story mode. I needed something refreshing and fun and was not disappointed. The lore is great, the plot is good, characters are fun. I like graphics as they are, no need to mod them IMHO.
Nearly 40 hours without any regrets, despite a few flaws with such games (like the Fallout 3+ series), very restricting scripted dialogs and missions, bad companions clothing management system.
Would I play it again someday? Absolutely, yes.

This is a tough game. It is meant to be serious survival gaming. It needs a steep curve to learn using craft and I recommend training solo before joining multiplayer server. Of course, you then don't benefit from other players help.
it is not a finished product, there are regular updates to fix bugs and to enhance the game. I enjoyed watching players running it on Youtube before buying it. I made one more step ahead.

A very nice game my kids enjoyed a lot. It really deserves to be owned.

If you are a fan of Theme Hospital and/or Space Colony, you won't be disappointed with this game. So far, I am a bit learning the tids and bits, but this is a real enjoyment to play this game that is only in Alpha stage!
