One of the top 5 games I have ever played. Brutally hard, and yet extremely rewarding. Never unfair - you are the problem, not the game. A true masterpiece.

Only thing I regret during my first playthrough is killing Solaire after some guy who invaded me in Anor Londo baited me into hitting him :(

Masterpiece. I got the same feels I got while playing Portal 2 coop, its really a fun and tricky ride :)

Pure relaxation, a very soothing puzzler with a great soundtrack.

The definitive edition definetly does the series justice. A lot of quality of life changes make the experience a lot more enjoyable and user friendly, while still maintaining all of the complexity of the original AOE II.

Though at the moment the Multiplayer is frustratingly buggy - frequently one of the players loses connection and is not able to reconnect, since that feature is missing. Saving the game and restoring it doesn't work either, since the player that disconnected gets replaced with an AI enemy, which cannot be kicked.

I really had for the time it did work a wonderful experience, but playing for three hours and never reaching the lategame due to disconnects and consequent restarts with friends make it unplayable to me.

Should you buy this game? Yes. Stop right here and buy it, you'll get the best expierence of it if you do not watch any trailers, walkthroughs or reviews. "The Beginenrs Guide" will leave you somewhat unsettled and uncomfortable, you are about to take on an emotional ride that holds up a mirror and reflects your most inner fears and struggles.

Super Spiel, welches schön an die Mod anknüpft. Die verbesserte Arma 2.5 Engine macht das ganze Performance- und Graftktechnisch auch noch nett anzusehen und um einiges besser zu Spielen. Sehr kurze Ladezeiten sowie ein netter Spielfluss, der nicht durch FPS Einbrüche (selbst in großen Städten kein Problem) gestört wird, heben sich in Punkto Performance und Handling ganz klar von der Mod ab.
Durch den Status als Alpha gibt es jedoch noch recht wenig zu tun, was den Langzeitspaß (für das aktuelle Leben) erheblich mindert, da man binnen weniger Stunden full equiped ist. Geiselnahmen und große Gefechte, sowie das Kommunizieren und helfen anderer (fremder) Mitspieler gibt den ganzen dann doch wieder den richtigen Dreh. Durch zukünfige Waffen und Item Patches, Base construction, sowie Fahrzeuge, wird das Standalone dann vollends weit über die Möglichkeiten und Spielspaß der Mod katapultiert. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Ansatz, der sich sehen lässt und auf dem sich ein solides Game aufbauen lässt. Ich freue mich auf weiteren content und kann den Titel jedem empfehlen, der neu in der ArmA Welt ist, oder schon lange dabei ist ;) 10/10
