I liked the first episode "Deliver us the moon". I feel there's something missing here, I just can't get to play it.

An ambitious project, but also a disappointing one.
The game would be interesting, I like the 'retro' art style and the idea behind it, but that's it.
The inventory management is terrible, you end up juggling the items and it is simply tedious and nothing else.
The puzzles are pretty dumb, not interesting, not engaging, just plain dumb.
The monsters/enemies are utterly boring, they have a terrible AI; the "horror" music that starts when a monster spots you becomes repetitive pretty quickly and ends up being just annoying.
There is a ton of stuff to read, everywhere, but most of the time is simply not interesting at all.
The story is not properly told. It is common to read online or in other review that "it's fine", becouse everyone can give "his own interpretation to everything" and while I agree to a certain extent, it mostly looks like a useless virtuosity by the authors, who focused too much into making it look like some kind of anime, instead of developing a better story.
Too bad, a missed opportunity, with a little more care into the core mechanics development, this could have been a masterpiece.

This game is not what I expected it to be, It surprised me.
I don't want to spoil anything, because probably the least you know about it, the more you can enjoy it. I'm glad I didnt't even watch the trailers.
So, I'll just say a few things.
I didn't find it scary tbh, the monsters are not scary, they are just very annoying. Not for the faint of heart, sure, but unless you are very sensitive, it's totally doable withouth being scared, it's just a matter of mindset.
The story is intriguing, it would have made a nice movie, and it's what kept me moving forward, I wanted to know more. Great narrative, even if very linear, you can hardly go wrong at any point.
Just a few parts require a lot of patience to get through, one in particular, but it's not long at all.
I liked that you don't have to worry about an inventory, you can still pick up things and use them automatically when needed.
Not for everyone, but I got it on sale and I'm glad that I gave it a chance.

Nice game.
Nothing jaw dropping, but a well made and enjoyable adventure/exploration game.
Low paced, except for a few moments, the focus is on the story, it's more of an experience.
The 'puzzles' are simple, but effective, never meant to stop you for too long.
The graphics works just fine, especially with RTX on.
The sound could have used some love, the effects are fine, but the music is just some ambient music, nothing memorable.
The story is well told, for once I wanted to collect those audio logs and holograms to better understand what happened.
Don't spoil it too much for you, if on sale buy it, just don't expect a fast paced action game.

An old fashioned point and click adventure, with a modern touch.
A nice story, which masterfully unfolds before your eyes in this dystopian and somewhat dark world.
The puzzles are fair, never too hard, unless you are completely new to the genre maybe.
A taste of another era, when games where made with passion and love.

The graphic is ridiculous, 2D in Deponia style would have made this a very nice game.
The controls are a nightmare instead, and the camera angles are simply stupid and annoying.
The story is nice, the puzzles are ok most of the times.

Graphic: 1/10 simply terrible
Controls: 1/10 a nightmare, mostly becouse of the stupid idea of making this game in 3D
Audio: 8/10 well done, totally monkey island style, music blends perfectly, no memorable theme
Puzzles and jokes: 6/10 they will make you smile from time to time, bring memory of the past games, and keep you engaged. Just a few puzzles are too boring, requiring way too much going back and forth.
Story: 5/10 not that bad, but goes way too far sometimes
Monkey Island feeling: 4/10 you don't get that monkey island feeling very much, except for some rare parts

My vote: 4/10
A missed opportunity. Some poor design choices, for a game that deserved better, and could have been better with a different graphic style, better controls and more attention to some boring puzzles.

Beautiful.
I didn't know anything about this game and I believe that's the best way to play it. A pleasant surprise.
Visually stunning, with a great soundtrack and a clever game design. It has some nice metaphors and little things that really make it shine, making it a true piece of art.
I recommend playing it with a good headset, in the dark, when it's all quite around, with no distractions.
10/10

A masterpiece.
It's unbelievable what has been done here with the original Half Life. Such A glorious work.
Usually I would say of a game I loved and love so much: 'don't touch it'. The risk of ruining it is too great.
But this is not the case with Black Mesa. You gotta love the guys who made this possible.
It is like going back in time and experience the beauty of Half Life again. It is unreal.
Everything is perfect and boy, what is Xen now. They gave it a total rework. It's not just about the graphics.
it's a huge alien planet now. You have to see it with your eyes. It's breathtaking.
If you loved Half Life, If you played it back in the days, you will appreciate the beauty of this game.

A masterpiece.
I don't want to review this game, becouse the least you know before playing, the more you are gonna enjoy it. After you complete the game, you can elaborate more on the subject: there is a great video ingame for example, made by the authors, or you can search more online.
A true gem, made by a hanful of people. And it has a price so low (especially during sales) that it is a steal!!
