I just finished this campaign, and highly recommend it to anyone starting out in the MI8. Its a creative look at something different that can be done in dcs without feeling contrived. The background radio chatter and banter between crew members set a standard that i missed when moving onto my next campaign.
Where it really shines is that it allows you to improve on different systems without worry about someone shooting at you- you can simply focus on honing skills, and i came out of this campaign much more proficient with the mi8 than when i went into it.

radio navigation

more sling load
NVG usage
a cubic crap-ton of takeoffs&landings
good gawd, more slingload?!

I didnt run into any bugs over the course of my playthru, running current stable build in vr

perhaps the darkest d@mn game ive ever played. emphasis on dark

cant recomment this one enough

too confusing to get into. seems amateurish and unfinished, but i suppose it might be good...but there was no compelling gameplay to get me to want to move past the initial confusion

i read somewhere that the beginning and end of this game is *very* mad max, while the middle bulk is just kinda generic, and i have to agree strongly with that sentiment. beautiful graphics, the final bit was perfection...while the middle was fairly unremarkable, its endemic to games so not specifically wrong with this game itself

beautiful graphics, awesome setting. Meh storyline, however. I wish fallout:vegas could be done to this graphical fidelity, as it had a better story, as well as better reputation system between various factions

a walking simulator, which i tend to dislike...but interesting. thrilling at times, frustrating at others, the enjoyment of solving puzzles and a fairly interesting story

i wanted to like this game, i really did...but it does have a very steep learning curve and unforgiving AI,which i could look past if it had compelling gameplay but it simply wasnt fun

its ok, if you like walking simulators...which are just one step more exciting than chore simulators. bland graphics, a lot of unrealized potential. almost no puzzles, just endless pointless walking...and walking...and walking

over promised (or implied) and underdelivered on anything interesting

the planet itself couldve been an interesting setting if it was more fleshed out and more to do other than..yep, walking

this is my first and will be my last walking simulator. what a dumb genre

awesome game despite the glitches
