This the most fun you'll have with an online community or friends. Theres so much to do and with Rockstar continuously adding more content, its a buy.

HL2 = All-star classic. It packs good gameplay, great story, dynamic environments and interactivity all under the power of Valve's Source Engine. It's an unregreatable buy, but keep in mind its a 2004 PC game, don't expect high-end Nvidia graphics.

Quick brief on HL2 (SPOILERS):

Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman...

Riiiiiiiight back to Earth just as our favorite alien slashing crowbar wielding physicist, Gordon Freeman, arrives in a mysterious train bound for city 17 (somewhere in Eastern Europe), our dude springs into the action as he doesnt realize its been a decade since he fell victim to a portal rapturing the space time continuum as we know it in Black Mesa. The world was taken over by a cross-dimensional alien force known as the Combine, who grotesquely surpass humanity both physically and technologically, after the so called 7 hour war, where Dr Breen (former head of Black Mesa) had negotiated Earth's surrender and vitality at the cost of enslavement, genocide and a general dystopia (Little did many know, Dr Breen he was promised power by the Combine). Along his quest to bring down the Combine, Freeman meets up with various resistance characters, who mostly date back from his days at the Black Mesa facility, and fights hes way through City 17 and other regional sectors pushing off Combine and other unearthly forces to reach Dr Breen's citadel and disrupt the Combine's centralized power. As you progress your way into the citadel, you notice how Earth is being exploited of its natural resources and things progressively turn even more grim.....

If you're a SW fan, this is a must. Its a nice RPG, turn based combat experience with descent graphics for its time. Its got a nice ammount of content and the storyline should keep you pretty busy. Personally, gameplay content wise, I believe its slightly better than KOTOR 2, but you can't miss the rest of the storyline on the sequel.

If you think you're a fan but you've never heard of the Old Republic tales then you've got a lot of reading to do.

Brief insight (No spoilers):

Set around 6k years before the Phantom Menance, KOTOR takes you into the classic starwarsian story of Reven and Malak after the Jedi Civil War during the Mandalorian Wars and just around the siege of Curuscant, centering itself on the quest to find the Star Forge, its sort of like a nonsustainable Death Star, if you will. You play as Darth Reven, who turned from the darkside into a free willed force gifted sentry on a quest to stop Malak after he betrayed you.

I'm not going to lie, I'm a huge farcry series fan. Far Cry 3 delivered players with Ubisoft's best survival/animal skinning/cocaine addicted pirate shootouts/mushroom inhaling story out there.

So...

Have I told you the definition of insanity?

Look for it online, it's a must, can't describe it any better than that.

Early Access Review
The first installment was impressive and hard, needless to say 'hell on earth' mode was nearly impossible. KF2 delivers even more action. The game is promising, its got all the players asked for: more blood, guts, weapon recoil, stunning visuals, excessive motion bluring and clever AIs. Its got new and fully remade maps, weapons and soon to be added all the good stuff from KF1 such as perks like the sharpshooter. In spite of being recently released lacking content (more will be added soon by developers), its still a great buy that'll surely keep you on the edge of your seat all the way.

I love this game. You sorta have to know what you're doing, afterall, it's a flight sim. It packs great combat, good online through HypperLobby, tons of mods available online plus communities constantly developing new toys for versions 4.09 ~ 4.12. Do a little research, if you're convinced and up to the challenge, buy a joystick and take to the skies.

Mod it, update it and I'll see you on SAS1946 !

This is by far my favorite game out on steam. Be warn first hand that graphics wise, its a huge payload on your card. So...

The stars are no longer the limit since this game gets you thinking into what do you want to do next, almost anything is possible here, just add your imagination and take to the skies...or outerspace. Just slap in your gravioli modules, a booster here and there and k-boom!

Try the demo and think about it.

WARNING:
- Do not orbit into the Sun.
- Basic fundamentals of flight knowledge required. (In-Game Tutorial Included)
- Some assembly required.

NOTE:
Need extra parts? special equipment? find what you're looking for on kerbalstuff.com. Mod it, explore it or destroy it.
