Really like, but with a issue that needs to be mentioned game lag and stutter, its much better since 1.0 came out.

Cute game, playing with beavers. It really scratches that itch to build something. Mod community is really good. Best of all, it scratches that brain itch I've been looking for.

The performance has improved, but large populations can cause the game stutter occacionally. My current playthough is just over 400 beavers. Smooth running at night, but come daytime I do see some lag, but it's not game ending like it use to be. I really can't recommend this game enough 801 play hours should say it all. Not too simple and not too hard.

In spite of the janky controls, IE: mouse and keyboard controls that would stop working at inconvent times. Skills assigned to number keys would stop working. Mouse clicks would stop working. I could still play the game thanks to other ways to activate those abilities.
Still it is a thumbs up. I really enjoyed the story, the companion interactions and the game play. For me it was one of those games were you become involved enough to lose track of time and miss meals for just one more goal.

I haven't finished yet, but I have been enjoying the game. Yes, a land vehicle would have been nice since you sometimes land a good distance from your objective. Yes, there may be a bugged quest or two. Over all though it has been a lot of fun. I am looking forward to a second play through. I know I have missed a lot this first time through. FYI, a sign of a good game when you want to try to experience all of the content.

I also know not everyone likes every game good or bad. However the dog piling that has taken place to be the most negative review. It is just an echo chamber. It only gives me the same feeling I get from a critic who bad mouths a movie I like. My response is the same, where is your movie or game. If you can't create yourself, be a critic. It is certainly easier.
The one thing I can get behind is a game should be polish at the time of release. I do appreciate those studios that update their games sadly to get it in a polished state over months or years.

Cool little game

This is a really beautiful game. I recommend it. To me its only minus are the fixed outcomes at the end of the main story. If my character is so highly approved of by the various factions, why can't more of them survive to the end. For me its the big let down for such an incredible open world there should me more options to the story. Heck I couldn't find any way to join the gunners.

I just wanted more, but in spite of that, I still loved this game and expect to have a second play through.

If you like tower defense games, I do, it was a no-brainer to buy this sequel to "The Awakening". Looking forward to the full release.

Yes, yes and a little more yes I would recommend this game. If you're tired of being too serious, play this game and have some fun. Now at $20 for the next 24 hours it is really worth the investment.
