Gamer, sci-fi fan, politically-active, world-traveler, amateur chef, atheist, skeptic. I've been gaming since the late 70s (yes, I started young). I have a wonderful husband who is also a gamer geek, and two cats that put up with me. I don't mind a good discussion, and I have a thick skin and believe strongly in everyone's right to their opinion. I think progress happens through the exchange of ideas. And I believe that it is up to all of us to make this world a better place, not because some cosmic scorekeeper will give you a reward when you die, but because we--and everyone we care for--live in this world. If we screw it up, we screw it up for those we love.
