For anyone thinking to buy this to play it on Linux (and/or the Steam Deck) be warned that the port is awful and has terrible performance. I mean , the game lags on hardware almost 10 years newer than the game itself...
Proton has better performance but there is an annoying bug with the text, it's pixellated and misplaced on the gui, only the first line of dialogs is rendered, making the game unplayable.

It's a mess. A powerful mess, but a mess.

The game strongly suggest using a controller but all the instructions about controls are about keyboard keys. Looks nice but not enough to justify learning by trials and errors.

How they managed to make a vampire game so boring and uninspired is beyond me...

Maybe with €200 worth of DLCs (that Paradox will surely put out in the following months) this will be a great game. As of now is just a shallow experience. And of course, in true Paradox tradition, full of more or less game-breaking bugs. Get this game during a sale or something, it does not deserve full price imho.

Nice but controls are not great. Also, I find it too difficult but maybe it's just me getting old.

For the content it offers, I can't recommend at full price... if you find it on sale for 10 bucks go for it.
