Early Access Review
3 Hours in first impressions,
If you liked Valheim, you will probably like this, it is less survival than I was anticipating but has some nice features.
-It feels a little Valheim but different enough, skill tree is interesting and has a mix of magic and trad weapons.
-It doesn't have the feeling of freedom to explore as you could in Valheim (so far).
-Combat is fluid and easy to understand, using the bow is a little different than other games but I like it
-Building is interesting, it took a minute to get the hang of it but was intuitive enough after that
-I enjoy the Shrouded part of the game(No spoiler)
-Cooking has a different dynamic to other survival games and I'm interested to see how that progresses
-So far no crashes
-Was able to play CO-OP with my brother in Korea while I'm on the East Coast U.S. it was easy to get going.

A nice game, I liked the art and the story line. The ending was quicker than I expected but I enjoyed it. I finished in 16 hours and I wasn't rushing. A nice little distraction for ignoring the planet.

This game was a fun little distraction. The game was relaxing and and the puzzles weren't difficult but they were enjoyable. It took me about 6 hours to get through the game but I feel like I skipped a few things. I would suggest a controller for this. Hopefully the devs will make some expansions for this.

I would suggest this game with some caveats,.

What I enjoy; the games aesthetics and music, the weapon options and the fact that you can pick up weapon drops (still no melee but this may come later?), when selling there is a handy "sell all duplicates" key which I didn't see at first, OOOOO and a setting to turn off motion blur! When I tried the game the first time I noticed right away and I'm glad the devs added this option. In fights there is a crouch function, use it and shoot over stuff, this is a great mechanic.

The co-op has been working well enough but there have been a few hic-ups; talking to the same vendor caused some problems, a player got stuck and had to DC and re-join, some of the cut scenes show up as a black screen but they can still hear. We have compensated for this by not talking to the same vendor and we haven't had any problems in the last 4 hours of play.

What I do not enjoy; the viewable area can be to small, in some fights you can be shot at from 6 directions but can't see a few of the folks that are shooting at you, sniper rifles don't give you more viewable area, so I'm not sure if they are effective, sometimes the screen turns into a side scroller but only for a short time, the screen sometimes auto rotates depending on where you are while in combat (only 1 or 2 spots so far). If I try running this in DX12 my FPS turns to garbage and tries to set my resolution to something unsupported. I run this in DX11 and it is smooth with no problems (I have an RTX2016 super pooper).

Anywho, this game is fun, you shoot stuff, you blow stuff up, the RPG aspects are decent, you can make a character to your play style (except sniper possibly), and you can do the full campaign in CO-OP. My friend and I are enjoying this even with the few things I mentioned above, we have a few hours in and it has been a good time so far. Indents rise up!

Early Access Review
At the time of this review I have about 7 hours in and I'll probably have a lot more by the end of the week.
I would suggest this game to folks that like crafting and base building, although, make sure you have a hole in your roof so smoke gets out. I find this game fairly relaxing even though sometimes you might be chased by boars or other creeps. I like running around in the woods hunting some deer, if you are sneaky you can stab them in the butt.
The leveling is set up the same way as skyrim, jumping gets you better at jumping, stabbing gets you better at stabbing :D
I haven't found any major issues with the game so far other than not being able to dive in water, I want my animal parts for crafting! Maybe I was filled with too many farts to dive? The graphics aren't great but the game play is good so I don't mind. The atmosphere in storms is nice, especially by the ocean with some nice looking swells.
I look forward to playing this in co-op with some friends, once I get there I will probably add to this.

I would totally recommend this game. It is fun if you enjoy crafting/survival games and it's fun alone or with friends. It has one of the best building systems Ive used in a game and you have a drone you can use (use the drone). You start off on a planet with almost nothing and eventually can explore other solar systems, moons, planets, etc. There are some story aspects and different factions you can work with.
The community has made a bunch of blue prints for the 3 vehicle types and bases that you can explore on the workshop. Although, caution should be used, some blue prints can be out of date and some components are obsolete. The devs keep adding the best ones into the base game with updates.
I was playing with two friends and we went about as far as we could in game, I'm looking forward to what the devs add in the future.
There were a few bugs when I played, but none were game stopping,

Oh wow! 3 hours in and I still lose track of time. This is the best VR experience I have had so far and I fear it might ruin other games for me. The interactions with objects are great, the movement seems fluid and logical, and I have only knocked over one thing in my house! I need a bigger house. I use a valve index and I would recommend this game to anyone who likes to look in buckets, dump out containers, write profanity on walls, and throw things. I almost fell over because I wanted to look in a window. Wheee!

While the game might have been good when it came out it just seems dated and frumpy now, like trying to drive a big wheel after getting a bike. I could see this being fun if I had friends that played but I just can 't recommend it. A few things to note, the interface with objects was clunky, some zombies teleported, some zombies were out of phase, and movement was super awkward in a few places.

If you have problems with motion blur I would not recommend this game. I have wanted to play this game for a long time but I couldn't play more than 5 minutes. I had vsync on and was able to get 144 fps, messed with my fov, and played online looking for answers, there were none. I have had problems with motion blur in the past and was able to get around it by turning it off or editing an ini file. This game had no solution for that.  If you don't have problems with motion blur the way I do this will probably be a hoot, but I can't recommend it until the blur problem is fixed.

I thought it was a little buggy at first, but after I figured the game a little it was more fun. I had a great time hitting people in the head or cutting limbs off. The archery has a drop rate which is nice and the combat is a little more complex than I initially assumed. I suggest you try the tutorial before hoping in the game, I learned a few things after playing 10 hours or so. There are a few different game modes, deathmatch ( a lot of people stabbing people in the back), Team capture, team death match, protect the king, and push the cart. Its a nice change from all of the FPS games.
