Ive been playing mtg for a long time, and this is actually a pretty good take on digital mtg but it really lacks the fun and excitement. Games take forever and theres a ton of rng and there are so many things taking place at one time its hard to even figure out why you managed to win or lost or how to play a sitiuation differently or better.

Games like this should be pay to win, following the mtg model, its a collectible card game where the goal should be to acquire the fun/cool cards. The problem is that the game is so big, that there are few individual cards that feel significantly more valuable then any others, and even fewer that have significant "cool" factor to them.

Its not a bad game, but it has nothing to make me wanna play more currently. Too little fun for the time and cost. Its not satisfying to play and requires a ton of learning, money, and time to get anything out of. I think they will turn it around in the future, valve is a top tier game company, but right now it feels like a big dissapointment.

Where this game is complete triumph is where it brings you into the battletech universe with its music, personalities, voice acting, story, and presentation. I rented mechwarrior 1 for snes when I was a kid and was enthralled by the concept of giant customizable robots. I was a fan of mech stuff for years, but slowly, the idea stopped fascinating me like it did. This game brings to life the excitement of the original concept.

Cons- The gameplay is slow, graphics and animations are pretty weak. but thats it. The slow gameplay feels both annoying, and intentional. If youve ever played world of tanks or mechwarrior online, youll recognize how this game is intended to be slow and methodical, but it is slow and thats a con.

Pros- Every things, I love the art, music, story (so far). The combat is strategic, there is tons of customization and it feels like I can be much more creative then I can in xcom. The balance makes it feel like you have huge durable walking tanks under your command, and it makes it a totally different experience then a squishy squad of marines. Anyone who likes mechs or xcom should try this.

wow this game is amazing. likely the best indie game ive played-and I love ftl and hotline miami. If you are a megaman x fan, you need this in your life.

Don't believe the entitled masses who just review every pc release negatively.

The overreaction from people about bugs and dlc in this game is amazingly stupid- This game is incredible and the dev's truly built a game that feels like a sequal to the original Deus Ex. Everything about the game is super quality and well made, a few bugs and wierd dlc redemption doesn't make this a bad game.

This game is the greatest game ever made as far as I'm concerned. When I found this game it was like finding Jesus.

Now I feel compelled to spread the good word.

with all the dlc and updates over the years, I've changed my opinion from negative to positive. It is now a fitting sequel to EU
