This game was a blast.

The recent news update says we will now require a PSN account to play on PC. I don't have a Playstation and I don't want one so this makes no sense. The game has been working find without one for months

Game is pretty relaxing, and it looks and sounds great - its vibe reminds of the first few C&C games.
Tug of war game where you make high level decisions for which unit/upgrade/ability to use during the fight and watch the carnage unfold.
The fun for me was mixing different units and strategies together, and there is 3 or 4 different level types where the strategies used need to be different so its not too repetitive.
Took me 8 hours to play through the campaign which is both progressive and engaging. No bugs encountered during my play through, good work considering its Early Access just now. Worth a buy.

Picked this up because it reminded me of the board game Risk.

Pros:
* The rules are really simple and it doesnt take long to play a full game.
* Lux Alliance has a lot more strategy than the previous game 'Lux Delux'.
* Alliances actually make the game more interesting. Originally, I thought it wouldn't be a good idea.
* A lot of community maps to explore after you finish the main maps.
* 10 different AIs to play against ranging from easy to hard.

Cons:
* Whenever I get a friend notification or pop up on the steam overlay, the game has wierd graphics artifacts. The game returns to normal when it disappears.

The story and lack of world building really lets this game down

It was a good game, but the devs broke it somehow and havent patched it in months. No further communication on whats going on, check the forums.

Game currently lacks of basic functionality which used to work in the original, eg. being able to load a multiplayer saved game, multiplayer desync issues and scenario triggers behaving incorrectly and randomly.
