Game is OK, EA Play is garbage, launching a game from Steam->EA Play->a web browser window is total clown world stuff.

This is basically Farcry 3 with a different plot and location copy and pasted in. Mechanics are the same, game loop essentially the same, just some extra stuff added in. So if you enjoyed FC3 you'll also enjoy this. I did, so thumbs up. Yeti DLC is quite good too.

This is just like Learn Japanese ... Hiragana Battle but significantly improved in multiple aspects. Improved graphics, improved UI, no more frustrating random battles and more side quests. Wasn't a fan of the relationship system, but it can be essentially ignored and is not important to completing the game.

A good way of learning hiragana wrapped up in a short and sweet RPG. Best combined with another method of learning them that involves more words, but this is a good reinforcement tool.

While this is a functional RTS - as you'd expect from the makers of TA/SupCom 1 - and plays well, I cannot recommend this to any fans of the originals as it's a downgrade in almost every way.
The graphics are cartoony and childish - the units look like they're made out of Lego as opposed to being real vehicles/structures. Why on earth they regressed to this after the graphics and designs of TA/SC 1 I don't know.
The environments are much smaller and look worse.
The game itself is simplified by replacing the tech tier system with research that pumps the stats/abilities of the small number of existing units/structures and also simplifying the economy system. The factions are very similar barring experimental units. SC was never about the plot, but it is worse than SC1's.
To its credit, the Research system does make for some variety in strategy and it is fun to e.g. pump structures to max to have very powerful fixed defenses, or instead pump units and send waves of shielded and double-firing tanks. If this was a standalone RTS disconnected from SC it wouldn't be so bad, it's just a poor sequel not in the spirit of the series.

This is an excellent RTS in the vein of Total Annihilation. Really slick interface and ran fine for me on Win10 without any mods/config changes.

Still awesome, and better battles than the base game IMO. Ran well without any mods on Win10.
