More like a neutral review than a negative. Starts ok, you'll go straight onto a lap of the Island, because that's the reason you bought it, great, done that, good fun. Even if the physics aren't spot on it captures some of the feeling of thrashing your bike around. Here we go, Island done so time for career mode.....

Again, starts ok, blat around trying to pull a clean lap or stage out of the bag, then you hit your first mass start race and it all goes to cr#p. Ai riders that run on rails with no avoidance built in, so if you overtake going into a corner but they still carry more speed into it forget it, they'll just run into you and wipe you out. Slightest nerf from behind and you're off while they breeze past you. Shame, it was a fun couple of hours up until that point, and a lot of it still is, but it kind of ruins the experience. Not great, not totally bad, but somewhere in the middle.

I own the board game, this is a good adaptation of it. Fun way to enjoy some relaxing Mahjong when you don't have an opponent around for the physical game.

Even better than the first one, mainly because you don't have to take the blubbing survivors out for a chat every 10 minutes any more, so much better without that constant ballache.

Meh, if i wanted to climb around like I was playing Tomb Raider then, frankly, I'd play Tomb Raider, just played the start but seemed like little else to do. When are they going to make some decent single player SW games based on the original trilogy and the characters we want to play? Oh yeah... never......

Gave it a thumbs up but more like a neutral. Seems fun enough for what you get but a big negative for the DLC cost, having to pay extra for Razorbacks and Land Raiders.... in a 40k game?! What??!

Hadn't played this version for a couple of years, just reinstalled and loving it again, great 4x game.

Got the board game but never had it out on the table and played it. Was really excited to try this out and unfortunately I really don't like it. Never realised the 'strategy' element involved using a dwindling hand of cards to basically puzzle solve your way through the dungeons, dying when taking a rest action on my last card in hand made my mind up. Did feel good to complete an encounter and I can see people enjoying it but unfortunately this game isn't for me.
