Did it look kinda unpolished when I bought it? Yes.
Are there a few flaws [with the 2D portions]? Yes.
Am I having fun? Yes.
This game is actually really addictive. I sat down, playing this on my Steam Deck, for like almost 3 hours straight. (I play on low settings, 60FPS limited to 40. Butter.)
I will update this once I finish the game. If you ever played the older 3D games, the jank won’t bother you too much. It isn’t perfect, but it’s pretty darn good.

HLA is amazing. All I need now is the proper upgrade for my pistol...Reflex sight is kinda hard to use quickly.

Pros: Hella fun and somehow doesn't make me have to puke. The thrill of the chase is great!

Cons: Full of kids and people who talk about the holocaust like it was a good thing. Welcome to the internet.

Fighting could be a little smoother, but other than that this is an incredible game. If you have problems with crashes/freezes on Windows 7 especially, use this fix http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?p=35107820
