Absolutely boring singleplayer campaign even on the hardest difficulty. Predictable spawns, have to micromanage battle brothers.

However, award-winning multiplayer experience. Buy it with friends.

Much like Life is Strange, I loved the music, art, story, character development, and world depth. I must specially mention how much I love the unravelling of Chloe's past and how it all connects to the main game while staying true to multiple choices.

Decisions are more severe in Before the Storm than in Life is Strange and I can't explain why without spoiling it. For this reason, I recommend playing Life is Strange first and Before the Storm second.

I loved the music, art, story, character development, and world depth. I disliked how this game took me on a roller coaster of emotions and decision anxiety that led my heart to be shattered in a million pieces. Actually, I think that's what I loved the most.

Life is Strange taught me that there are two primary choices in life; to accept reality as it is or to accept responsibility for changing it. What will you choose, I wonder?

In the beginning, it's a honeymoon phase. You're captivated by the graphics, gameplay, characters, storyline, executions, and cosmetics.

After the butterflies die, you realize there is only one thing that matters; victory.

Unless managed, the desire to win will become all-consuming and defeat devastating to your ego.

My first FPS game and only one I've thoroughly enjoyed!

Each character has specific skill sets that create their role, but you choose how to implement those skills to fulfill it.

However, the worst way to play is by playing alone. It's Team Fortress, not You Fortress. Coordinate with your team to dismantle enemy defenses to win.

Sometimes you'll wish teammates listened to you and vice versa.

WORLD:

I was skeptical at first; being my first Monster Hunter game after refusing to play all the previous ones due to their complexity.

A friend convinced me and now I am a HR 100+ hammer main. My advice for beginners, try every weapon. You'll find that some are complex and require precise timing while others are forgiving and simple. Regardless, you can use any weapon and still dominate; so play with what you enjoy most!

ICEBORNE (251 HOURS):

If you enjoyed MHW, Iceborne is worth every penny. Iceborne will connect you to older Monster Hunter games through the addition of older wyverns in addition to new ones to the series.

In other news, I'm now a great sword main. Someone's gotta chop those tails!

RETURN TO MHW:I 2024 (600+ HOURS):

Dual Blades. Antithesis to deliberate and timed usage of the great sword. Gets better if you do crack.

This is a challenging survival game with a variety of characters whose strength and weakness will determine how you play. Each character has their own personality which can cause problems or create synergy.
