This game is amongst the best examples of merging accurate simulations with beautiful interfaces. A great example of how well everything works is to drop the timescale to realtime, place a still moon in the path of the earth, and watch as the atmosphere burns away, followed by the seas, followed by the earth becoming a molten ball. You can even graph properties of earth as compared with other planetary bodies to see how close this gets earth to the temperature of the sun.
