i mean, i kinda get it, i just look at it from a corporate perspective. sony would rather drop the game and let it flop if they dont brutally force PSN accounts. poor indie devs know they'll just stop letting them use their servers. sony NEEDS to appease investors or else!!! sony also needs to make it seem like anyone gives a ♥♥♥♥ about playstation other than braindead turbo normie ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. they can say some hilariously gay ♥♥♥♥ like "look 100k new users in a month isnt that crazy?"

EDIT: still having fun with this game and am struggling to see why people are rating it negatively. im assuming the controller support is not that great or maybe they're sticking to the literal survivor mode, which, idk im more interested in the dungeon crawler. i see some comments on nothing being explained but with a little experimentation and thought theres only some ambiguity.


With that said, i will say that this is one of the more legitimate complaints from this game. I've seen more than a couple indie games take this route and ♥♥♥♥ them over (looking at you, battlerite) With an already small starting playerbase, i can easily see this splitting the playerbase and spiraling out of control. Luckily, the gameplay style seems to mesh seamlessly between the modes, so balancing should be easier.

I GENUINELY hope this game gets more updates and becomes something of a hit. It has a massive amount of potential. I'm rooting for you, bro.
