Plot 5/5
You load into a mysterious and strange world. Creepy sounds start playing and going off in the distance, You continue to explore this dark and mysterious place and meet it's inhabitants along the way.
Gameplay 5/5
IMSCARED is a first person, puzzle and horror game. The game and progression requires you to think outside the box, it's brilliant. All of the puzzles and obstacles are really entertaining, the ambience is on point and the scares when they do happen are really solid. Oh yeah and I almost forgot, I recommend you play this game in windowed mode because you're gonna be alt-tabbing a lot. This is because the game really likes breaking the 4th wall in an awesome and spooky way!
Level Design 4/5
The levels are linear and there's a bit of back tracking. Some levels take longer than others because the game has a tendency to mess with you, giving you false clues. They also feel a bit larger than they actually are, there are absolutely no loading screens. The levels are quite small in reality. It receives a 4/5 in my book, I enjoyed the design but I think there may be more that could be added.
Graphics 5/5
This game is a golden example of how to do retro graphics right. It's not all up in your face, there's a lot of colors which contrasts the dark levels and ambience. Because of this light weight graphic work the game has no loading screens and it can run on absolutely anything!
Sound 5/5
The sound effects are great and have this calming ASMR effect (at least on me lol). The OST accompanied with the freaky ambience and random noises makes it really engaging.
Final Words
This is a game I got for free from a friend. I also had the luxury to stream while playing to the friend who bought me this game. He was my guardian angel trough the puzzles (thanks giggi). I fell in love with this game because of it's charm and genius puzzles/obstacles. The first time when it broke the 4th wall it was quite creepy though I got used to it and would often wait for something new to happen. I recommend this game for everyone, like I said above EVERYONE can run it. It's also quite cheap so there's no excuse to not try! IMSCARED has become the best game I have played so far into 2023.

MY FINAL RATING IS: 4.8 (PERFECTION!)

Plot 4/5
The game starts off with the protagonist Ethan Winters receiving an E-Mail from his presumed dead wife Mia Winters. Mia took up a babysitting job on a ship and disappeared shortly into her trip. Ethan receives the E-Mail and makes his way to the Baker's House in Dulvey Louisiana. He will endure a night of horrors as he tries to answer many of the questions he has and escape alive. I personally find this plot quite bad in some regards, since who would be willing to go to an abandoned house to seach for a person that has been missing for years. And especially still enter after all of the things he sees outside.
Gameplay 5/5
Resident Evil: 7 Biohazard is a First-Person Survival Horror game. And it is the first true Survival Horror oriented game in the franchise after a long time of the series being FPS / Hollywood action game oriented. Trough the game you feel very weak and fragile, there is also a great detail in the game where Ethan can't really aim. It's signifying that he's just an ordinary Joe with no prior experience. But then Chris Redfield during the DLC "Not a Hero" can shoot and aim like a true soldier. There are many items to collect and craft while managing the simple but neat inventory system.
Level Design 5/5
The levels and sections of the house and surrounding areas are linear. Mostly sets of tunnels, rooms and corridors. But that doesn't mean they aren't interesting, first off the interiors are very well detailed with lots of cans and other rubbish scattered all about. They are also dark (which compliments the survival horror aspect very well). There's a lot of backtracking too, going back with new keys and lock picks to get more supplies and unlock new areas. The linear aspect of the level design really causes you to become claustrophobic especially when being hunted by one of the Bakers. Overall the level design is really solid and how to execute a lineral level right.
Graphics 4/5
The graphics in this game are pretty good. The texture are very high quality, the models are good, lighting and reflections. It's great though I do have complaints, some of the outside areas epsecially in the beginning look very bad if you lower the settings even slightly. There's also this pixelation happening and I'm playing on the highest settings. Also for some reason the FPS just drops from 180+ to 20-30 and it stays there for a good minute or two. This happens if I play with the Color Space setting and put it to SRGB. I will score the graphics to 4 out of 5 since this might just be an issue on my end.
Sound 4/5
The sound design in this game is high quality. The music when it does play give you that spooky feeling like there is something near you and it captures the emotion of the moment. Also the random house noises and swamp ambience are executed flawlessly. I feel the voice actors are not really into their roles most of the time. For example Ethan loses limbs and he has barely any reaction. Davey (the guy in the Happy Birthday VHS) literally gets set on fire and barely reacts. On the other hand there is Mia's voice actor who did an excellent ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ job. With her screaming and dialog, Jack and Marguarite's lines are pretty good. Lucas is just awkward but I guess it's just part of his personality. Ethan has the weakest voice acting compared to all of them. It could be better.
Enemies 3/5
You start of the game hiding and avoiding the Bakers. The Bakers are the highlight enemy of this game, they are very dynamic and sections where Jack patrols the hallways always gives me anxiety. They are in the first half of the game later on you get introduced to an enemy called Molded. They are really easy to take down and the best way to defeat them is just to slam a door in their face lol. There is variety in the molded but they are really really easy to take down. The only time I found myself being even semi scared of them was when I was on the ship as Mia, because I didn't have any weapons to defend myself. There's also a very annoying moth enemy which Marguarite spawns. The boss fights are also not that hard. Overall they kinda screwed up on the enemies, apart from the Bakers there's not that much substance which is a shame. :\
Arsenal 5/5
The arsenal in this game and all the variety ammunition and buffs you can get is really good! You have your first weapon a pocket knife, good for breaking crates, killing moths and engaging enemies when you are out of ammo. There's also a stronger varient The hunting/survival knife which you obtain later in the game. You also have your pistol, shotgun and SMG options. All the guns have a good punch to them and amount of ammunition given is pretty alright too. There's also a grenade launcher which is really good and a flamethrower which I personally dislike and after the fight with Marguarite kinda loses it's value and purpose. Overall the arsenal is very diverse and is pretty good!
Final Words
Resident Evil 7 is my favorite Resident Evil game I have played so far. And one of my most favorite survival horror video games of all time. It's a game I replay at least once per year. It has moved away from the action packed Resident Evil games like 5 and 6 with a new first person POV. The game these days is really cheap and I bought a phyisical copy that comes with the Steam activation key for about 10 EUR in 2019. If you can get your hands on this game I really recommend you give it a try! I'm sorry if there were any spelling mistakes (English is not my native tongue :x). Cheers!

MY FINAL RATING IS: 4,2 (Very Good)

Wallpaper Engine is an amazing little piece of Software!

Wallpaper engine like the name implies is a piece of software for your desktop wallpaper.
You can make your own wallpaper or import some from the workshop.
Sadly most of the workshop is full of softcore hentai and anime but if you are into that I won't judge.
But the workshop isn't all full of that there are truly some gorgeous gems to enhance your desktop, also some of them come with music or ambient noises which makes it all the better.
If your PC can handle it you can play the wallpapers on 60 FPS which from my experience makes it all pop.

You would think this software is demanding but no I actually found it is less resource heavy than Google Chrome. So what are you waiting for go and get it you won't regret it!

*also I got all the achievements just cuz*

Plot 5/5
The story is set in Europe and the Pacific. In Europe you play Dimitri Petrenko who survived the slaughter at Stalingrad, and has been fighting all the way to Berlin. In the Pacific you play Pvt.Miller a marine who is fighting the Japanese. You will be fighting the Japanese in the jungles and beaches of tropical islands.
Gameplay 5/5
The gameplay is pretty good and quite diverse. First off fighting the Japanese is a lot different than fighting the Germans. Unlike the Germans who use conventional warfare, the Japanese use guerilla warfare and use the environment to their advantage. Like for example hiding in trees, grass and others. That doesn't mean the Germans aren't fun to fight cause they totally are, they are fun to massacre as always. The only main i guess issue i found with the game is the insane grenade spam on veteran difficulty.
Level Design 5/5
The levels/maps in this game are pretty good and have a good balance of elevated and flat area. Some maps like Downfall are huge 3 lane maps which are great in all aspects of the gameplay. In short the maps in World At War are pretty solid and fun to play on.
Arsenal 5/5
The weapons in this game are really fun to shoot and thankfully there's a huge variety of them. You have sniper rifles that all are basically a one shot kill and really feel punchy. You also have the un-scoped version of most of the sniper rifles. The SMG's are also really fun to shoot but require some experience before shooting. The recoil is pretty low compared to other FPS games, but you should still try to get used to them as fast as possible. This game also added weapons such as flamethrowers which are really useful in the American missions and are also useful for clearing out sniper/camper nests in multiplayer.
Multiplayer 5/5
The multiplayer is really fun in this game. Unlike most of the COD games this one has driveable tanks which, if manned with the right crew can be one of the deciding factors in a match. Though they are not too OP and can be taken out pretty quickly by a C4 rusher. There's also the classic Nazi Zombies mode which is super fun and simple. Just defend against hordes of wambies it doesn't get more straight forward than that. There's also a Co-oP mode where you and a buddy can play trough the games campaign. Basically the multiplayer is still pretty much alive and has 1000 players on the daily. From my experience you can even find full servers at 3 AM. The perks/weapons are not really OP and are pretty balanced for the most part. The multiplayer is really simple and fun.
Graphics 4/5
The graphics are really charming. The lighting still holds up, but you will notice it's old because of the low detail textures. But the game really looks good even by today's standards.
Sound 5/5
The sound design is probably one of the best in the franchise. All the guns sound great, the voice acting is pretty well done. The music doesn't play at all times but when it does it plays in the right moment to get you pumping and wanna go on a power trip. Also the zombie noises are creepy as hell.
Final Words
This game is a great example of old simplistic COD. Even if you don't like the COD series i would still recommend it just for the campaign. Is it worth 20 Euros when not on sale? I really don't think so, and i recommend you buy it on the next Steam sale.
