I honestly was hesitant when I preordered the game during the playtest as I was unsure if I would continue to like it outside of playing with friends. I never have played tarkov, but I did play a little bit of helldivers so I had some similar game genre experience, but not a lot. I have been hella hooked into arc raiders and I genuinely have enjoyed every round I play. Its nice to have the PVP if I feel like doing more hunt raids than looting raids, and even so its nice to have a community that has a rather passive take on just letting people loot if others are nearby. I would recommend this game to everyone, even if they are also hesitant. It is truly a fun game and I have had a great experience thus far.

Aside the obvious fact that this game is a gacha game, Umamusume is one of those games where it honestly stands out from the others. They have done an extremely amazing job at keeping accuracy to the origins of each character, as they are inspired off of actual Japanese racing horses. Their career details are also pretty accurate as well, meaning that they took a lot of time into keeping the history of the horse as unfabricated as possible. I have probably put in about 100 hours total on the global server (steam says 36.6 rn but I play mostly on mobile), and about half on the JP version of the game too. I can definitely say that this game is worthy of an award this year, even if it is a gacha game or not. The history and lore of each character and its original horse goes really far, and it is definitely what continued to keep me reeled in.

honestly, as far as the gameplay goes, its great. i have had a fun time and i haven't been at a point to where i am bored of the game. i keep wanting to progress and grind and play with friends and that is one of the main things that has sold me. now as for performance......

im not going to say that i had the game running at a decent state right off the bat. i personally have a ryzen 5 7600 and a rtx 3060 and even at lowest settings i wasnt able to push a stable 60fps. i did some tweaks and changes via nvidia app and so on and i have gotten the game to run at a stable 120fps with mostly medium settings on. I think the one main thing that causes a lot of performance issues for many others is the fact that, from what i can tell, BL4 is not using the most up to date version of DLSS and FSR. Frame generation definitely helps, but only up to an extent. By no means do I have a high end PC, and I am not going to upgrade to one just for this game, but I know that there are some forum posts and guides out there that show how to get the best performance possible without really sacrificing game quality. Do i hope that they eventually fix the majority of performance issues? Yes, but I am fine with what im running at right now, so I can't really bring myself to bombard the devs to fix it.

In summary: If you like the borderlands series, I definitely recommend 4. If you cannot set aside that performance issues will be present and not great pre-tweaks/configuring, maybe wait a bit until it's better.

lowkey rlly like the aesthetic of the vintage card game that lowkey feels like poker. seeds and different kinds of decks bring a lot to the plate n it honestly has helped me cure boredom many times whether im home or on the go playing on my phone or tablet

I never really liked games in this genre but this game in particular has been very fun for me and I was very disappointed when I heard sony tried to pull that dumb move.

I have never seen a community like this, where we are willing to fight for change and come together to do such.

I have huge hopes for this game and for winning GOTY, go democracy !!
