every time that kid's dad's show up on screen i remind my son that men how kiss other men are an abomination and if i ever see him kiss another boy or put on a dress I'll carry hm to the top of a volcano and toss him into the lava and when we saw a big black ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at the grocery store my son laughed and said "throw him in the lava dad!"

In Japan, there are 3 ways to say “I love you”:

You say “Daisuki (大好き)” for the friends and person you like,

you say “Aishiteru (愛してる)” for a more serious relationship,

and you say “Koishiteru ( 恋してる)” to the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

And they follow this rule. They preserve the meaning of ‘I love you’ and never lose its essence unlike us.
