Ubisoft gave us a remake with better graphics and all these new features that make exploration and stealth more tolerable while completely neutering the very thing that made us tolerate the bad exploration and stealth mechanics. I'm talking about the combat.

No hidden blade combat??! No fists!?! No disarms!!? Are you f**king serious Ubisoft!!!

Not only that. But I keep seeing the same repetitive animations again and AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN!!!
Its bad to the point where I don't even think mods will save this game. The original had more finishers and animations than I could count and that was 13 F***ing years ago. How do you F*** this up??? This was arguably your best AC game in history and you give us this "modernized" slop with everything but the core appeal of the game. All for the disrespectful price of $60 with the option to buy more slop DLC.

Stop trying to be Dark Souls! Stop with the basic b*tch combat system. That's not what Assassins Creed was to begin with. If I want to get f***ed by Miyazaki I'll go play DS3 or Elden Ring because that's their niche and that's what they do best. You guys just steal everyone's Ideas while abandoning what made your games good in the first place. And I am so tired of it!!! Its been years now, and you still haven't learned. I really hoped you guys would turn things around with this remake. I really hoped it would be a "back to the basics" (come to Jesus) moment for you. But once again I am left utterly disappointed.....

If you enjoyed the combat of the original, I would avoid this one, or wait for a deep sale. Don't reward Ubisoft with 60 dollars of your money for a half @$$ed remake. Don't trust the reviews either, half of them are bots.

Overall not bad, It a fun game but definitely needs some QOL updates

Recommendations.

-Add sensitivity settings for controller
-Add the ability to cancel a reload animation when using melee or switching weapons. (if you run out of bullets and can't hit or swap weapons that's a pretty bad situation to be in during a confrontation.)
-Enemies feel like bullet sponges, maybe reduce their hit points.
-Consider adding ADS feature
-Add ability to navigate menus with controller
-Add sprint to controller, or at least the ability to map keys to the controller.
-Consider adding difficulty options.

These are the few things I noticed so far. other than that the game is moving in the right direction and I am excited to see what the final product will be.

If you haven't played his game yet...what the **** are you doing with your life?!? buy it and play this masterpiece of pure unapologetic brutality

Wait for a sale. Its fun, but its not worth 50 bucks

I love the concept and the game is definitely fun. but it is extremely buggy and clunky, and sometimes annoying to play, especially with the driving parts. this game needs an update soon. At its current state I cant recommend it, but I truly believe that after a patch or two the game will be a solid choice.

It starts slow, but keeps getting better the longer I play. I am really enjoying it so far.

I really want to play this game be it keeps crashing.

for added difficulty you can try a controller in one hand and your d**k in the other.

Ubisoft is a trash company. I should not have to log into any online ****** anything play a single player game thats installed on my machine. Why companies like Ubisoft cant seem to understand this is beyond me. but this **** needs to end. So overall this is a fantastic game but the company behind it is terrible and I wont recommend a game that has a trash company behind it with trash customer service and a trash business model that cares more about taking your money than providing a good product and service to its customers.
