oh, and maybe don't buy Havik and or the Kameo pack (especially not this one) if you intend on playing the actual video game. You get Havik for beating the story mode, and you can get all of the locked kameos through Motaro by playing Invasions and other single player modes (if you'd like.)

If you're actually invested into the game, this shouldn't take a super long time, and it's way better than spending a collective near $30 for both.

really good, got review bombed because people don't like their choice of FREE dlc characters. they're free anyway, who cares

there's a headcrab chomping noise on the main menu and it's really starting to freak me out

starting the game up takes 3 years, but it's okay, it's got a lot to load.

Also even though this game has an insane in game (and steam dlc) store, it's not like any of it is explicitly necessary. You can get good at the game without DLC weapons, and most of the store stuff is cosmetic anyway.

if your favorite color is red, you will love this game

This one is up there with Arkham City for me. The graphics are just outstanding, better than most recently released games. Arkham Knight adds even more gadgets and gameplay features, which brings me to my first real flaw with the game, the Batmobile. Driving around the Batmobile is fun, ramming into cars and causing them to break against buildings is fun, but fighting 60 drones outside of the GCPD is not very fun. I think the Batmobile shoot out scenes would be a lot more interesting if they weren't ALWAYS happening to you. There are just so many tank fights. You're forced into tank fights a multitude of times throughout the main story, not to mention some of the side missions (riddler races UGGGGH). That brings me to the story. I love scarecrow, and I can happily say that they used him well. He's menacing, and has an action motive, to kill the Batman, but not the actual Batman, the idea of the Batman. I thought the Arkham Knight himself was okay but the Jason Todd scenes were so forced into the game that it was immediately obvious who he was. The Joker was wonderful in this game. Even in death, he sticks around and makes the bad parts of the game fun.

This was the official ending of the Arkham series, and I think that as a conclusion to the series, it's a very good game, with some real bad flaws.










why was deathstroke in a tank tho

When this game came out, a lot of people were disappointed. I was the same, I was a little sad with how it turned out when I was younger, but recently I've gone back and played through the game again and I've realized that the issue is the timeline of this game's release. Arkham City was an amazing game that did pretty much everything right. I'm not sure you could get much better than Arkham City, so you can't play this game comparing it to Arkham City. If you play this game with an open mind, you'll have a nicely stylized game with a good story and plenty of amazing boss fights. There are some parts of the story that seem a little forced, but I think it transitions well into Arkham Asylum by the end.
