Needs more enemy fractions. But otherwise a good game.

Not worth buying on steam. Pirate if you can. EA is using this game to install their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I have paid for the game, not for EA spyware.

*Graphics
To hell with fancy visual effects and realism, embrace the unique visual style.

*Sound
♥♥♥♥ yea! Atmospheric, creepy and chilling sound effects.

*Difficulty
Plenty and more. As in, you will die many many times before you even reach the first boss.

*Lore
OMG, I thought you'd never ask, it is not deep but damn it's messed up (in a good way, so I'm not spoiling anything). Comes in the form of text though, no voice over.

*Crafting
Yes, it has crafting. Simple but intuitive and very well implemented. Nuff said.

*Downsides
There is a tutorial but it doesn't properly cover certain mechanics. It's not very complicated, just don't expect the game to hold your hand and "introduce" every new enemy type and weapon.

*Conclusion
Try at your own risk, I keep coming back to this game every year. don't remember when and where I got it but damn I wish more people knew about this piece of art!

A very well refined classic arena shooter. It's hard to get into due to high skill bar but once you spend enough time practicing, it becomes the adrenaline pumping action that most modern FPS games lack.
