This is probably the only game I have ever owned and played extensively where my opinion of the game took a complete 180. I was a massive fan of this game when it first launched and I was first inline to purchase new DLC for the game which I also enjoyed just as much as the base game itself.

Then as with most live service games I took a short break from the game. What I returned to was a different game. For starters all the DLC content I owned (around $100 worth) was gone. All my armour and weapons related to those DLC was "archived" meaning I can look at it on a list but can't use it. In addition to all this they changed the base game, removing locations and altering the story so much that even after a few hours of game-play I still have no idea what is going on. Also keeping in mind that I purchased this base game before it went free to play.

I am so put off by what this game has become and I have no desire to reinvest time and money into this game as they are more than likely going to just change the story again and remove DLC that I purchase once again. Not to mention remove and kill off characters that you invest time into.

My advice to new comers looking to play this game, rather move on it is not worth the gamble.

Early Access Review
One of the few games in this genre that provides the player this level of control. Having the ability to create a character to your own specifications and then play in a controlled world as in controlled by you makes Valheim stand out above the rest. This results in an enjoyable experience in which you can pour hours into your world as it is your own and will not be destroyed by someone you don't even know the next day.

Let me just start off by saying that if you are a fan of Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 and 2 and have been looking for a theme park builder to fill the gap but never could. Stop here, this is the game you are looking for. Seriously, this game is such a ripoff of RCT and I absolutely love it. That being said this game still has a ton more to offer above and beyond the old school RCT look and feel. Upgraded graphics and yet in the same style, more park features and mechanics as well as all the old mechanics and features you are use to but much more fleshed out. It really feels like what RCT3 was suppose to be. The only complaint I have is that it is a little demanding so playing it on my Laptop isn't as smooth as I would have liked, that being said I am very happy for the native Linux support. Overall definitely a thumbs up from me.

I have recently started to enjoy these atmospheric first person games a lot. Kona was no exception. It held my attention long enough to not only finish the game but also go back and finish off all the achievements. It's a good game but not a great game. For a murder mystery game the ending was a bit disappointing as I feel like they took the easy way out instead of bringing it together in a more natural way. I also felt the gun play cheapend the experience, were a melee weapon would have worked much better. Other than this, it's a game I'd recommend if you're into these atmospheric first person games, especially if you can get it on special.

Instead of writing a long and complex review about Cities: Skylines, I figured I'd just state what everyone really just wants to know. Yes this is a better city builder than the last SimCity, not to mention it still gets both payed and free updates to this day.

After having played this game multiple times with 5 play throughs, the longest being around 9 and a half days. I can honestly say that this game was a big dissapointment. Which I really didn't wanna say about this game. I seriously wanted this game to be good, I mean I waited for it for over 5 years and when it came out I was so excited, even buying the Pipboy edition and season pass. But sadly no matter how much I played it, no matter how much I tried to justify it to myself in my head. At the end this game just fell flat and was just such a big dissapointment that there is no way around it. This is just a bad Fallout game. Oh and the dlc didn't help, in fact it made it worse. This game has some of the worse dlc I've seen in a Bethesda and for sure in a Fallout game.

Alan Wake is one of my all time favourite games. I really enjoyed the in-depth and engaging storyline the first time around. The game is advertised as being a psychological action thriller and that aspect of the game truly does make it quite. Unique in the sense that it's not your average horror game simply out to provide unsettling imagery on screen but instead it goes a little deeper causing you to delve into your psyche and there is were the unsettling aspect lies.

Sure some might say the enemies are generic or even boring or that the gameplay is repetitive and shallow. Now those are all points that can be made, however that is not why you play Alan Wake. You play this game to get to the end in the hope that all your questions will get answered, and take note I said your questions not the game's generic questions. This is what makes Alan Wake a great game, it's the reason why you play this game through three times and don’t get bored halfway through.

Now that said on my 2nd and 3rd play-through in addition to unanswered questions, collectibles on my 2nd play-through and nightmare mode and achievements on my third play-through were also big motivators. With collectibles being another great aspect of this game. The setting and location also doesn’t hurt with some amazing scenic views during the day time being just beyond the next tree line or up the closest fire-watch tower. This is further enhanced by a great score with even the music played on the various radios fitting so well into every scene in which they are placed. All this creates an atmosphere that easily makes it into my to three.

Also just in closing, for those of you reading this review who have already finished the game and you're sitting with one of the game's bigger questions still lingering. My advice to you is this. Start the game again and play till the scene were you meet Tom (the diver). Listen carefully to what he says. Either it will answer one of the games big questions for you right there on the spot or you need to play the game through again to get it.

Lastly, this game plays flawlessly in Proton on Linux, just reduce the grass (foliage) to zero, it really doesn't take anything away from the game resulting in it feeling out of place when it is there.
