Started strong, fell short of expectations. At the surface felt like a unique world built; exciting and fresh...until you realize you're killing wolves again for the 5th time...and you've only been playing for 10 hours. Finished killing wolves here? Cool.
Now walk/port over to the next city and kill some more wolves. No mounts. Walking sim but I'm not doing something cool like being a FedEx delivery guy in Death Stranding. Combat kinda cool when it's not wonking out. But not sure it's anything we haven't seen before. Might be something in another year or two. But at least it's not bricking 3000 series cards anymore....right?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think this game's launch shows how starved everyone is to play a new MMO that's not WoW. I give it a few months before everyone's conquered what's offered here and goes back to WoW, ESO, or FFXIV. Hopefully they do add more to the world and refine gameplay because it might catch on. Current state? I doubt it.
