After playing Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, two games released by the iconic visionary, fascinating, show-stopping, movie-type, cinematic-esque, interactive-genre, film-movie-game, game-movie, french videogame designer David Cage, my expectations were uncertain as to what could be expected from the forthcoming video game release in the catalogue of Dad David. Will David Cage create the best movie AND game all at once? Will the game have a cinematic bars toggle, where you can make the black bars bigger but not disable them entirely? Will based atheist chad David Cage make an appearance, curing all religious people from their sick beliefs?

I finally booted the game. I was greeted with a shader compilation loading screen(??? IDK what that was about) and waited about 30 minutes for the graphical technology to compile my shaders on my graphics card on the PC. Now, this was something. It was one of the features. What was it doing? I would not know. Can someone please explain why I had to wait so long?
Despite my last review where I claim to be a gamer, I had overestimated my gamer knowledge. What is a Shader Compilation Process?? Huh??? What??

Speaking of overestimating things, even David himself overestimated what his game would become. David claimed that his company does not produce games for homosexual people. As a bit of an f-slur, I was surprised to have enjoyed the Detroit: Become Gay experience.

Once the game has finally loaded, you are greeted by a woman robot slave, telling you what each option in the menu does. The given options are as follows: New Game, Continue, Options, Extras, David Cage Funny and Exit Game.

The game ensues in Detroit, where everyone is racist, even in 2030. This is because the game is made by a french company. This time, the segregated group are robots that look like people who do chores. Yes, they do the cooking. Yes, they do the cleaning. Plus, they keep the na-na real sweet for your eating. I was a little bit concerned with the approach of the story in this game. Maybe, I am too much of an f-slur to comprehend David's vision here. I thought the segregation element of the story could seem a bit offensive, David?

Anyways, this was an incredible game. The graphics, the story, the characters. Many details had so much noticeable progress compared to stupid dumb Heavy Rain, for example. There are so many new features to make the game more interactive and fun, not tedious. Every chapter would end with a whole graph of many different options and paths you could have taken. I thought this was a super cool addition. The game was much more punishing than previous Quantic Games titles with bad choices that could even result in the deaths of beloved characters. I also thought David Cage was attractive when I looked up his pictures online. If only I were such an alpha male cool guy like him :(

I highly recommend you play the game Detroit: Become Minority if you like having your nipple tickled or enjoy playing interactive video games.
