Decided to maybe move up to the second floor then promptly got the whole base destroyed by 1 (unkillable?) robot. 10/10

They have redeemed themselves with updates and now the game is enjoyable

Maybe this will be fixed later but THE BUGS SO FAR;
FAITH BUG: some faith changes do not register properly and can be DEVASTATING if it combos with bad events. POTENTIAL WORK AROUND: if you change faith, open up rituals close rituals it seems to work. must be done with every change.
WAKING VILLAGERS UP: probably a bug? if you have a lot of villagers and wake them up, IT TAKES 20 FAITH PER PERSON. out of 100 possible faith, it KILLS it anywhere over 5 villagers. dunno why. was an accident the first time. i could understand if it was loyalty but not freakin faith sheesh.
BUGGED OUT BUILDINGS: some production buildings just stop being worked on. you have to build another one of the same type to continue production.

All that being said, i do think that for the most part the game is fun but CAN BE QUICKLY RUINED BY BUGS LIKE THESE

EDIT: Since buying the game to today, they have had FIFTEEN rounds of updates and every last one has been bug fixes. I dont think that its possible for new games to come out without being rushed out the door, bugs and all.

Very fun but i would recommend watching others play before you get into it. i recommend pipetron

very good game for 3$. i watched a video of someone standing still for 30 minutes then realized he had max upgrades. ive been playing for a while, got all the achievements and still dont have half of the upgrades lol they all get more expensive as you go

A very short game if you get lucky. In the initial demo, everyone LOVED the first part. I whole heartedly thought this was going to be the whole game and i would have been just fine with that. But... after "defeating" the first person you meet, the whole game changes. Mechanics, interactions, game style. I would say there are 4 distinct "deck" Themes and the gem one is the worst followed by the robots and you have to play with robots in act 3 exclusively. I wish that it could have been like slay the spire where you just keep going again and again with randomized maps but do not expect that from this one. I have finished this game in 10 hours.

Played this game for almost 200 hours now and having a ton of fun still. One thing that perplexes me is that you dont get achievements while playing on a modded world, HOWEVER: if you play on a server with the XMLs edited (aka modded), you do get achievements. Very strange indeed.

A classic. Get mods to fix issues with newer pcs/os'. check out the communities section for links to those mods

Its very fun but i only have 2 gripes;A ) some people in VC try waaaay too hard to win. Its supposed to be fun. Dont group or vote people on sus within the first couple seconds of the game :/B ) The servers (at the moment) die at around 9pm EST. You cant host or join a game in any of the three server regions unless you are already playing with a full group. People are unable to join you either at around this time.

This game is a lot of fun holy cow. Very Subnautica feel to it. I will say that if you don't rush energy production methods then the game gets annoying. if you get solid biofuel then go straight for the chain saw, then you will have more energy than you could need for the early game. Coal power is the next step but its freakin stupid cause you need coal and water. those two things can be more than a mile apart from each other -.- but once you have that, energy can be automated so you don't have to refuel bio generators manually anymore. I think i'm like 5% into the game just with that about 8 hours in lol its a pretty huge game and i have been having fun the whole way here.
This is all without exploring a ton. there is a whole world of beautiful landscapes, creatures, plants, cavern systems (i think. im too scared to venture there yet). The movement is very nice. you will see what i mean if you play. it doesnt feel like a walking sim because there are lots of things that make you move faster even early game.
