Early Access Review
For a game marked as early access, it is surprisingly fleshed out. This game was made by a skilled developer who is very dedicated to his craft, and I've been enjoying my time playing this so far.

I started my adventure in a survival world, and quickly became the target of many ghosts and a mushroom. After quickly dying I made a discovery world and found out there was a very expansive quest line; which following helped me to gain a much better understanding of the game.

I managed to build a home, and spam many torches around the perimeter for my safety. As well as take revenge on that same mushroom from the previous Survival world. I plan to explore more and get more in-depth with the quests, as well as try some boss fights soon.

Early Access Review
Idk if I can recommend this game anymore, when it first came out it was amazing, but now the added grind paired with almost unusable equipment at the early levels makes it hard for me to say anyone should pick this game up. Mainly because when they do, I know they're going to be subjected to the gear that can't really be used.

Aside from that, not sure if some changes were made to how evidence is handled, or ghost types. But the lobbies just seem buggy and inconsistent, which never really felt like an issue before. :/

EDIT: The gameplay does start to improve as you get the better equipment, it just sucks that early game you're unable to reliably collect evidence, and makes the grind even more tedious.

Early Access Review
I played the first game, and really enjoyed it. The gameplay of this game takes a step in the right direction, however as a survival game I think there should be some changes.

My suggestions:

1. Nerf, or remove the 3D printer. Make it so you find these items in camps or caves again, to add real value for exploring these.
2. Move cave loot around, spread it around, etc. A lot of the current caves are either just a one-room chamber with nothing really of value, or some massive stretch filled with multiple high-value items. You can probably spread some of these items out between other caves.
3. This is probably planned, but more craft-able items pls -- bring back fire arrows, log sleds, etc.
4. Move the pistol spawn location to a cave, or even a grave, it makes the game extremely easy no matter what difficulty.
5. Add more context to the story -- through my time exploring the world with friends, we never really received much context from the notes/emails. We didn't get much inkling of a story until suddenly the second-to-last bunker gave a confusing cutscene, then another final end-game cutscene in the last bunker, before being given the choice to leave or stay.

I'm hoping this game reaches, or even goes above and beyond what the first game brought to the table. But currently the game feels more like an early dev-build, as opposed to being an early-access title. Maybe that's the point, idk.

This game is awful.

Long load, freeze, crash, load, microstutters, play for 2 hours, crash, load, kicked from server for "unknown error", friends died on a boat waiting for me to load back in.

Somehow Rust Legacy on a browser ran better.

Don't be fooled -- this isn't a mil-sim, this is absolute chaos.

Found 5 data fragments, unlocked Desmonds first memory. The game started simulating a crash where the game closed then relaunched again except in the "core of the Animus" in first person. Took two steps then computer froze and crashed.

10/10, very immersive.
