Rise of the Tomb Raider es una buena secuela que supo mantener la misma intensidad y dinamismo del primero, añandiéndole nuevas mécanicas que mantienen al juego fresco y te abre un abanico de oportunidades completamente nuevo respecto de como encarar diferentes situaciones que el juego te planea.

Si habría que remarcar algún punto negativo, sería sin duda, la historia, no por ser mala, sino por su similitud, en términos generales, a la historia del primer juego.

En resumidas cuentas, si te gustó el primer juego, es más que seguro que Rise of the Tomb Raider te va a gustar también.

Inmejorable secuela de un juego que a sabido ser, por lejos, de los mejores que he jugado en mi vida hasta el momento, con una historia muy interesante la cual los chicos de Devolver Digital supieron concluir de manera gloriosa, atando absolutamente todos los cabos que el primer juego nos había dejado.

Le han sabido agregar muchas cosas nuevas, bien implementadas que hacen de esta entrega un juego súper entretenido y muy interesante.
Tanto la narrativa, como la estética del juego (y ni hablar de la música) hacen de esta entrega una experiencia increíble.

Cita más que obligada para absolutamente todo aquel que quiere disfrutar de una saga íncreible.

Simplemente BRUTAL.
Éste juego no te va a dar respiro, es una película de acción en esteroides, lo tiene casi todo, acción de la buena, las batallas entre autos son muy buenas y ni hablar del vasto mapa de Wastelands que es muy extenso y entretenido de explorar.

Contras

• Las tormentas no le agregaban mucho al juego a decir verdad, y en su mayoría eran una molestia y solamente había que esconderse obligatoriamente, y esperar sentado a que se vayan.
  
• Strongholds, en su mayoría fueron todos muy repetitivos, y los Top Dogs, más que nada las peleas, eran absolutamente iguales y no presentaban reto alguno.

Estas "contras" no impactan en absoluto en lo que el juego representa como un todo, que en resumidas cuentas es muy entretenido y una "hidden gem" que todos deberían darle una oportunidad.

The game is not bad, but it's not good either....

The story is not bad, but from the start it feels slow, I had difficulties going thru with the story at the beggining because of that, but luckily the game got interesting pretty quick.

This game has three playable characters (it's the first in the series to have three playable characters), each with their unique style and personality, and gives a sense of "there's no main character", but there is a main character, Michael.

The story is clear from the beggining, it's all about him, his family, present life and ghosts, hi's retirement, and Franklin and Trevor are there to fill in the gaps, even tho they have stories on their own, and it's not a bad thing, it makes the game more dinamic and gives you a rest from each character, I liked that.

I'm not playing the online mode, I'm not sure if I'll ever play it, so I can't say anything about it.

I have to say, after finishing the game (the main story, I'll be doing the rest after), that I LOVED THIS GAME, I didn't knew it was going to be so fun to play, so intense, it had a lot of amazing scenes and it felt like an action movie the whole time, I'm not a fan of first person shooters, but this is by far one of the best and most fun games I've ever played.

- The only thing I could point as negative was the poorly optimization of the game, owning a GTX 1070 I struggled with a few scenes and places and I wasn't able to maintain 60fps through the whole game, some places were around 30/40fps.

The improvement of this game over the first one is really great, I mean, the first one was amazing as well (I loved it), but this took things to another level, the way the world expanded and the possibilities to explore the world, the secondary missions and the gadgets.
Even tho the ending feels kinda... dissapointing, it does not ruin the fun this game provides.
I think there's going to be a 3rd game on the series as far as I know, well, that's what everybody says, and considering how this game improved, they're going in the right direction.

A dildo as a melee weapon? Checked
A shotgun that shoots sharks that eats people? Checked
A toilet (yes, a toilet) as a playable suit for your character? Checked

Do you need to ask for more? This game is your fav action movie ever, it's amazingly funny and makes no sense at all.

The game is excellent, despite being not so good at the end (the ending is... kinda dissapointing), but it has improved a lot compared to the first one, it does have a lot of content which is a really good thing, there were moment when the game felt repetitive (the game is all about you collecting stuff for others basically... like you're some kind of errand boy...).

It may sound like this review is more negative than positive, but I recommend this game despite all of that because it is worth playing and it's a lot of fun also, and Death was a really cool character.

Simply amazing! Brutal, fun, challenging, what else could you want in a game?
