It's suddenly struck me. It reminds me of R.A.G.E.

The experience of waiting has been the same, the slightly over-egged hype has been the same and the weird colour-palette is the same until you turn off 3 default settings which should definitely not be on.

As for the gameplay, well, it's so far been interesting. I can see why some folk would complain it's not open-worldy enough for an open-world RPG.

Mods and patching may well bring it up to spec, but for now, I'm mostly disappointed.

Sure, it's buggy. But it's being fixed on the regular, and there's a fair bit of gameplay available. Thoroughly good fun, requires a bit of patience as it has a tendency to CTD. Don't buy it if you're not into this stuff, yeah?

Grindy. Time consuming. Mindless quarantined fun.

Thought the controls were a little janky at first, but it was just my mouse sensitivity! What can I say? It's an excellent little game, simple concept, well executed and pretty challenging.

One for fans of swearing and mourning the loss of loved characters.
