Obviously, this game for its Playstation release deserves all of the awards it has gotten.

This PC port, however, was not well done.

A faithful and accurate recreation to a childhood favourite of mine. Would strongly recommend.

One of my favourite games. A truly immersive experience. Tons of cheesy yet memorable lines of dialogue.

By far one of the funnest games I have ever played, without exaggeration.

It took the fun, gory hacking and slashing from Dead Island and mixed it with a parkour system. That might seem unusual, but think about it: it doesn't always make sense to fight zombies, which are strong yet slow, so the parkour system allows you to evade most of them with ease.

Or you can just hack apart every zombie as one would expect in a zombie game. Both are viable options.

The looting in this game is pretty fun too. I find myself immersed in Harran digging through abandoned apartments for supplies to create medkits, weapon modifications, or other essentials.

The 'spiritual predecessor' to Dying Light. Playing the latter makes me greatly appreciate the added parkour mechanics, as well as the different repair system.

If you're willing to get over that, it is still an enjoyable game with a different, more comic-like mood to it than Dying Light. There is a nice variety in the map, from the bright and sunny resort to the gloomy slums of the inner city. The island of Banoi just seems to have more variety than the City of Harran in Dying Light.

Fun game with very intense fast-paced combat and environment destruction.

The driving controls completely suck.

Good remaster of an old game (2009).

Great mechanics for destroying all kinds of structures, from military fort walls to office buildings to entire bridges. Great variety of guns to shoot down EDF soldiers.

The driving mechanics are a bit stiff, though.

Also, as an FYI a good portion of the achievements for this game are for multiplayer, which nobody seems to play. If you enjoy achievement hunting then you should keep this in mind.

Patrolling the Mojave makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

I found this game for ninety cents at Walmart many years ago. It's just as bad as I remembered.

A fun and immersive FPS experience. I personally love the Hunt game mode on co-op. Would recommend.
