A beautiful world, engaging mechanics and interesting lore - this game is truly in a league of its own for that. Unfortunately, the developers have prioritised making you sweat it out over immersion and engagement.

It's not about there being difficult content - the original game had this and here it is just as rewarding to overcome. However, that game was not preoccupied with demanding a constant skill display from its player. Every exploration, every step forward here requires 110% of you - with each area being filled with an abundance of traps and persistent enemies with the moveset of the Hollow Knight, which, of course, respawn on room transition. There is no time to be immersed in the world - for it must constantly distract you and sweat you out in battle. Thus, it does not appeal to anyone but a niche competitive community.

An insanely replayable action-packed shooter with a great visual aesthetic, crazy good soundtrack and an interesting and unique gameplay loop. From having fun becoming a transcendent entity that destroys everything in its path to challenging yourself to beat impossible odds - this game's got it all. Heck, its even got a pretty decent story hidden in the lore. Best value for money in my whole library by far.

Singleplayer story is great and highly engaging. Multiplayer sucks ass and is so outdated techical-wise that its mind-boggling. But its fine if you go without it as its still good old reliable GTA - it could have been something much more but it never needed to be to deliver.

The only strategy in this game is spamming as many cities as possible. It turns into a micromanagement hell by the end. Not my cup of tea.

A challenging yet fun 2D survival game. Character and enviroment design ooze uniqueness and creativity, engaging you with the world. The gameplay has many layers to it and they keep adding even more. Even better (and indirectly also harder) with friends.
