Restaurant management at night, ocean diving by day, and the constant stream of upgrades and unlocks make for a steady flow of dopamine.

Seriously, Oceangate has nothing on this.

The Stanley Parable.

What can I say here? There's a lot to say, but at the same time, not much to say...

Hmm.

Well, in the interest of keeping the game spoiler-free, I'll only say this much to describe it:
You have choices. Yet, at the same time, do you?

Honestly, it's a great experience. I wouldn't go so far as to even call it a "game," at least not like most video games...

Great thought-piece in my opinion, and an selection in my library I come back to time and time again, both for myself and to show my friends, which is more than I can say for most games once I've finished them the first time.

To best enjoy the Stanley Parable, if you're interested by now, I'd recommend you buy it. Do NOT look up anything if you can help it!! The more in the dark you are about this, the better the experience will be for you.

Just buy it, and play.

Definitely worth your time for the price.
There's a demo though if you want to try in short for free.

Best of luck!

Amazing game. I honestly don't know how it is free. I would easily put down anywhere from 15 to 20 dollars for this, as I really do enjoy it that much.

It's got a lot of features, and a huge variety of each at that, such as ships, ship outfittings (think engines, guns, etc) routes, planets (and other destinations), species/civilizations, missions, commodities for trading (and their local pricings), and ways of profiting (Are you more a Captain Malcolm Reynolds or more a Captain Jean-Luc Picard?).

But if this sounds like a lot more than what you might like to deal with, don't let that turn you off, because the UI's organized in a clean and clear fashion, controls are smooth once you settle into your captain's chair, so to speak, and can only get better from there, The maps have an extraordinary amount of information, but it's tidy so you don't lose yourself in all the information. Planning your routes and jobs and fleet will make you feel like a real space merchant captain, and provided you have the crew and equipment to do so, you could rule the black as a BAMF space pirate.

On top of that, there are mods and modding tools out there for the game, so you can change the base game up a bit, if you so desire.

TLDR: Honestly, growing from taking a small ship out on loan and humble beginnings to running a fleet of warships and freighters across the universe just gives a certain rush like nothing else. It can be challenging at times and very detailed, but it's neat and not overwhelming either in my opinion, plus mods, so I definitely recommend you give it a shot.

Besides, it's all free. You don't have much to lose besides an hour or two at the most if you don't like it. If you do, then you got plenty of content to dive into!

And to start you off, here's a bit of inspiration for the journey, if it strikes your fancy:

This game is the shizz, man. 2016 hat economy simulator, 11/10 would get hooked on it again.

Watch out though, the community, like any other, can get pretty toxic at times with squeakers, scammers (do your homework before you start trading, guys!), and people who spam Lenny faces. Otherwise, all in all, if you don't mind that, it's a good game.
