Every season Ubisoft manages to make this game worse and worse. Even well before Y7 they were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up with void edge changes. Now it's a shell of its former self. Ranked 2.0 is confusing, Quick play 2.0 is just TDM+, the map pools are all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, and any operator with any utility is effectively pointless with how rewarding rushing every round is.
Now with Y8S3's shotgun changes, the meta is slowly shifting away from 1.5 scopes to who has the best shotgun. It isn't fun.

This isn't a tactical shooter. This is just a shooter.
