Like a bat that freely roams through the night
Finding its way without the sense of sight
It then retreats at the first sign of light
How abrupt then would be its flight

Bumping once on a brick wall seems to smart
Bumping twice then will seem to take one apart
Bumping thrice seems already like pure stupidity
But bumping four times will just be a pity

Like a bat, one wants to fly free
Even if that means that there will be nothing to see
Seeing nothing seems pleasant to me
Rather than experiencing one on a killing spree

They say love is blind
Love is nothing but a trick of the mind
