I like Warhammer and all the lore/passion behind it. I don't know much about it so my friends fill me in. This game, despite me not knowing much has been an absolute blast. The combat and general mechanics are just really nice. It's one of those games that doesn't reach for your wallet. It is a game however, I will pick up and put down as I can see it becoming repetitive in time, especially with only just a few missions for PVE. With that said, though, the PVE missions even if you do the same one on repeat, do change ever so slightly to keep it refreshing for the most part. Super excited for a horde mode as that would make for a longer experience. Not a whole lot of content, but it's a finished product that sells a good time and I believe it's worth the money for that alone. Classic game development the market has been missing for years.

Early Access Review
I will admit that I've played less than 10 matches before writing this review. I understand this is early access as well, and my review could change as more is done with the game.

The game is visually stunning, the mechanics are like no other MOBA out there. The best comparison would be Smite, however, there's a lot more skill involved here as you're required to look up and down as well when aiming attacks. The game plays like Paragon almost exactly.

Where I struggle to recommend the game though, is where I don't see anything new aside from what Paragon has laid out. The item system didn't excite me at all and there's no motivation behind learning it either as it defaults to auto-buy items. For new players, especially players new to MOBA style games, I see this as a plus, however.

The fact that team chat is off by default is another red flag to me. As, other than teammates angrily pinging things, I didn't really understand what they were trying to tell me. Similar to visiting a foreign country and trying to get directions somewhere.

Along with this, there's absolutely no teamwork unless you're playing with a friend or friends. So, once the first line of towers are destroyed, it's pretty much all down to whichever team has a more skilled ADC as they absolutely wreck the damage game. (As they should)

There's just not much new player help here with the tutorial, or any guide on how to understand a MOBA style game. As someone who is very familiar with MOBA style games, I even struggled to understand how the map worked, how wards worked, buffs, etc.

To wrap up, I see this game as the better of the two, as the other is more of a killfest, this is more MOBA based, but still needs work and overall communication in a multiplayer team-based game really needs to be stepped up. Further, something I really see Smite bettering this with, is the ping system. It really makes you notice the map when a player pings something along with an alarming noise notifying you that a player has pinged a location. Here, if you're not really keeping the map in your vision, it's easy to miss a ping. Again, the team chat thing really needs to be addressed as I hadn't been able to talk to anyone outside of quick chat commands. Maybe the reason behind this is to avoid toxic behavior? I don't see that being a good reason, as no matter where you go, what you play, co-op only games, hell, even single player games depending on the person, you're going to get toxicity.

Game is good, has the potential to recreate the joys I had in Paragon, but lacks communication and core concepts of a team-based competitive MOBA.

The game has potential. I enjoy it for the most part. The thing I struggle with the most is color difference even with the colorblind mode. I won't leave that as my reason for a negative review, however. I think the game is more of just how quickly you can react to something rather than anything else. I really wish units would auto retaliate when attacked, or archers would automatically turn to defend the unit being attacked within an arm length of them.

The tower management is where I struggle the most with the colorblind mode. My units are colored blue while I think the enemy is yellow, but the unit icons on the minimap are so small that I don't notice an enemy unit destroying a tower till it's often too late. There's not much to conquest mode, but I do think it would be a massive improvement if there was multiplayer co-op conquest modes. I find the easiest difficulty is the only one I have been able to muster up the skill (Or, reaction time) to beat the AI. The AI is very hard to explain on top of this. They are very good at sending units to various objectives, but then they are also very good at rushing a single unit into an army of yours. It's odd, really. I think the most I've seen this is when they rush in archer units for melee rather than shoot at all.

Lastly, I've played a majority of the conquest mode and I've found that it's the same thing every time. Capture 3 points and hold them to the best of your ability while simultaneously capturing towers around the map. I guess what I'm saying is that there could be more to do, more factions, more options in general as I felt as though I played all the game has to offer aside from getting better skill wise in the span of 6 hours.

The game has a great atmosphere, visuals & audio but lacks in game play where many games lack 2023.

Overall I think it deserves a 6/10 as I've gotten a decent amount of playtime out of it for its' price. If you do get this game, I would 100% recommend the basic version as skins for hero units is not worth the $10-20 extra by any means.

I've always been a SC fan since I could hold a controller. I played SC5 to death and was really skilled with Cervantes for the longest time. I will say when I heard about SC6 being released for PC I was overly excited. The game even released on my birthday and thought that, "This is fate." The game is fun, it brings back memories from when I was younger as it retells the story once again. However, at it's current state, I can't recommend it at it's full price. I feel like I've already accomplished everything the game has to offer in a short amount of time. My favorite part about SC was the creation; the creation mode in this game isn't what I thought it would be. It's been stripped so much compared to the old games. At best I could create maybe 4-5 characters that look unique. After that everyone else just starts to either look the same or just plain weird. I'm hoping much more content will come out for this title because for me, it doesn't have enough content to even match SC3 which is the top dog in my opinion for the series. I will say as being a huge fan of ranked matches in SC5 the online is nearly unplayable. Even with full connection you will still experience delay and that's not what we need in a fighting game as fast paced as SC. Even when playing with friends who live barely 10 miles away I still experience heavy lag. As I said before, I feel like I've done everything the game has to offer in the short amount of time I've owned the game. Even with the DLC I can't say the game is worth more than $30. If I didn't have friends to fight online with I probably wouldn't launch the game again until something changes.

The game is fun, don't get me wrong, but there is so much P2W aspects of the game it's unreal. It's great for a F2P game, but they could make money the right way and not allow people to P 2 W! There needs to be more modes; maybe a 5v5 full court action. Make the game more realistic and add some more physics and allow me to be able to block a dunk. There is also way too much to the game yet way too little, and what I mean by that, is there are stat cards and free styles and "magic" clothes that would give you the edge in a match. Just have normal basketball, that's all you need. Too little, basically what I said before, to where there aren't any game modes, and just there isn't much customization either, unless you wanna be a dragon helmeted nba player or a humongous black Jonas Brother. It's fun, but there's issues I'd hope and many others would hope they fix.

I do like the game, the new functions and all that are great! I will say that the game is a lot harder than Rome II, and I loved that game too. But I would say the main thing that turns me off on this game is just pure tribes. I do understand that it is history and all that, but in Rome II I always played as Sparta, I loved having my army full of warriors geared in armor, and now I'm kinda forced to build a weak weak weak army with little to no armor. I love the armored look, but it seems that there aren't any factions offering that other than Rome. (Partially) Another thing I kind of question about the game is the playable faction list. There aren't much factions to play as, and it seems each one other than Rome and the Huns are all the same. You start off slow building weak units and build your way up, but I always get owned around the 5th or 6th turn by a random tribe who already has heavy units or ballistas. You can't even research that fast, whatever they are feeding their researchers I want it. I would like to see some changes, and mods.

The game is like a 6/10 for me so far.

Ryse is one of my favorite games at the moment. It's combat system is glorious and I love every second of it. It makes me feel as though I am playing one of the Batman games or playing an Assassin's Creed game. However it is also very different from the two.

The story is not short in my opinion, it was about 8 hours long and I was consistant through the whole story. I don't know about you but I definitely don't want a movie lasting 8 hours, and this game kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The story is amazing and very interesting. You have skills and executions to unlock throughout the storyline and there are secrets to unlock throughout the campaign.

There is a lot to do also even after the campaign. You have the multiplayer gladiator mode, which is one heck of a ride the entire time. You level up your gladiator aside a friend or with some other person from around the world and you either complete specific tasks with arena mode, or just full on massacre with survival. (Survival mode is free with the steam version) You get new armor and new potions to unlock and buy depending on what level you are. There are also hero skins to where you could be Marius Titus (Main character) General Commodus, Democles, even the Nanosuit 2.0 (Crysis) instead of your gladiator. (The Hero costumes are free with the Steam Version)

The game's graphics and just detail in general is breath taking, it is the only game other than Battlefield 4 I could not run on max settings, the effects and the facial features are just mind blowingly realistic. The environments, the enemies, weapons, just everything is so detailed. It's the coolest to see your enemy's facial expressions while you are in mid execution.

Breathtaking. 10/10
Graphics. 10/10
Story. 10/10
Multiplayer. 10/10
This game is worth more than it asks!

Early Access Review
The game overall is great, however, the amount of OP tanks is unreal, if you want to win, pick Germany because the US is practically tankless. I got so happy when I unlocked an anti-tank missile as an explosive. BUT, that thing costs more money than I've made the whole duration I've played the game. In a way, they want us to pay real money for items to give your "country" the advantage. So overall the game is 10/10 for me, but the tanks ruin the whole experience.
