The first borderlands game I played was 3, and I think that's why I'm having so much fun with 4. I really enjoyed 3's gameplay and was mostly ambivalent about the story, this is just more of that for me!

However; My computer with a 5070 and a Ryzen 9 HX can only reasonably run this game on low graphics with medium upscaling and that is a bit of a shame. Even on low graphics the game is super pretty but I really wish I could play it with better graphics and still maintain reasonable frames and performance.

So! Overall? Game is fun! There are some encounters that could be much better designed, and the performance has some issues, but its fun; and that is the most important bit imo.

All around fun horde shooter, very enjoyable with friends, also enjoyable solo.

It had a rough start, but its super fun now! Good story, amazing graphics, and very fun gameplay with a variety of builds and avenues to go down. 9.7/10 will play again.

very good game. As somebody who loves TTRPGs, this hits the sweet spot between digital game and tabletop game, and I'd be damned if it doesn't do it well
