Cloak is only effective on people without object permanence, so use crossplay :)

It's kind of like you're watching a really long, ugly tell-tale games interactive story. But then every now and again you find yourself out in the open world and you get a few new abilities and it's just interesting enough to keep going.
The game recommends you play it in hard mode, which I did, but this means when you're in lean out the window chases, which there are many of, You get shredded. Of course this is fine because you can craft health inhalers easily so as long as you're huffing you're out-healing incoming unavoidable damage.
Sometimes when I leave my apartment there are bodies, guns or multiple car pileups outside. This is great for resource farming but I don't think it's working as intended.
The police are dopey and unresponsive to any crime except yours, I've even led gang members to groups of police and hid behind them and the police do not care about being shot by them but do get suspicious if I get too close.
They also don't have cars as far as I can tell, they just sit on the corners of some blocks so all you need to do to lose the police is run to a block without police, usually the next one over.

If you think you can try the game and refund it if you don't like it, you can't. the first and second missions are just talking to people / traveling places to talk to other people and take 60 - 90 mins each (while skipping the more mundane idle talk).

The only thing I could say that is genuinely good about this game is I've laughed a lot at glitches and bugs in cutscenes or otherwise boring follow / go here missions. Specifically if you bump or jump on someone holding something, the object they are holding becomes attached to their hands permanently until the next time they are reset, like entering a cutscene. This is possibly my favourite thing about the game, and I don't think I can push myself to launch it again.

Have you ever wanted to fly a drone irresponsibly through densely populated areas or private property without the risk?
Do you want to fly a delicate piece of technology at 100 KM/h through tunnels and gates without the near certainty your drone will get Thanos snapped from any small impact?
Like infinite battery life?
You should buy this Racing Game / Sim

The new update makes you log in, collects quite a lot of data (read the new privacy policy), and makes the game unplayable offline (I assume because they really want that data).
However since the privacy policy changed it's possible steam will allow a refund, even if you've played for more than 2 hours or owned the game for more than 14 days.
So once you leave a negative review, Submit a request to steam for a refund and in the "Notes" section of the refund description indicate that the privacy policy changed.
I believe this (as well as the recent reviews) will send a pretty strong message and hopefully we'll get back the original Kovaaks, at which point you can purchase it again with the refunded money.
