Recommended.

Really nice roguelite with enough variation to not make it feel repetitive.
If you are like me and like to complete your games, this game allows you to unlock every achievement even in easy which is really fun and allowed me to do long runs when I had the time. The only achievement I had to grind was the 100 deaths.
Fallback feels like a hidden gem, really hope more people get to experience this game.

Had been looking for a new tower defense game to play for a long time and this game is one of the best reviewed games on Steam, but I always disregarded it due to its graphics. That was my first mistake, because after 30 minutes knew I was going to be spending a lot of time on it and have been enjoying it so far.

My second mistake was thinking this was a simple game. Oh, no. Get ready to be overwhelmed by the amount of options this game has, allowing you to use different strategies. But sometimes your first strategy is usually the right one, don't overthink it. That would be my best advice for this game, just have fun.

This game is really a hidden gem (pun intended).

Buy Mordhau instead. Better game and developers.

I know it's pretty useless since this review will be considered off-topic, even more if the game is eventually removed. But I really loved this game, it's a shame this had to happen.

Really don't know what is it with this game. I don't play simulators and don't like driving games, but something about how peaceful everything feels makes play this game at night. Like, I can be driving and lose myself in my own thoughts.

I've been playing for a while and have discovered about 20% of the maps I own. SCS keeps releasing maps for this game after 6 years and will probably continue doing so, which I will continue buying and playing.

The game also has lots and lots of mods, people that continue updating their mods after all this time are heroes. You can improve the graphics, ambience, sounds, trucks, physics, you name it. Not that is necessary, but it's a big plus.

I didn't play this game back when it was first released nor had played any X-COM game before. So, I didn't know what was I getting into. And WOW! It doesn't feel like a +20 years old game. Although, OpenXcom + Final Mod Pack improved everything, this game is a true gem.

So many things to do that I'd recommend watching tutorials or gameplays, this way you can tell if you are doing everything this game has to offer. Also, don't get too attached to your soldiers, some of them won't make it. Which is sad but necessary.

Please don't hesitate to give this game a try if you haven't.

I really love this gem. Is one of those games that keep you thinking even when you are not playing. Also one of those games you want to play one last round even when you shouldn't (even with the 16x fast forward option making each round last between 10 to 15 minutes, be ready to stay up all night).

It has an awesome level design that allows you to test different strategies. The game offers plenty of options, even when you are using the same type of units, you can customize them to suit your needs. For example, you can have an archer causing bleeding next to another archer causing armor-piercing damage.

Developers released few months ago an HD update for free. So, this game has basically everything you ever wanted from a game. Good gameplay, good replayability, good story, options, customization, short/long gaming sessions and awesome developers releasing updates even when this game was first released back in 2012.
