Walk around at the excruciatingly slow pace that the developer wants you to, save the game only when the developer says that you are allowed to, go to bed when the developer wants you to, and if you don't, be forcibly put down and penalised, interact with this or that mechanic when the developer says that you can. This just might be the most overpraised game of the century, either that or gamers are such drooling simpletons that you can appease them with slop like this. I don't want you to constantly handhold me and go so far as to prevent me from saving and quitting whenever I want, even permadeath roguelikes allow you that luxury and those are supposed to be the brutal games and not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ farming game. There is also barely any gameplay even worth talking about, put seed in ground, talk to townies that are either: 1) Generic goody-two-shoes townie, 2) Former but with a quirk or two tossed in along with a generic-tragic backstory, sleep, harvest and sell with no depth nor nuance and barely any supporting mechanics (wow, you can do generic romance or mine, and slay beasts by spamming lmb like its Terraria). Absolutely worth a buy if you do enjoy watching grass grow and the equivalent of intimacy with a drywall interests you.

TF2 was murdered years ago, but its lifeless husk marches on. A little makeup in the form of once in a blue moon updates that add cosmetics, taunts and broken maps, and tens of thousands of idlers are enough to make this corpse seem alive to those with the ability to look, but not the ability to see. You deserved a better, more humane death than this, rest in peace.

This was absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible to play and towards the end I was overstimulated and speeding through dialogue just to end it. Ice Pick does not disappoint.

The positive review is well-justified, I was shaking and crying when Bachelor Dankovsky called Clara a "pitiful little Changeling".

The developer released a plushie. Of himself. Nelson Sexton released a literal plushie of himself. All I am gonna say.

At the price that they are asking and even at 50% off, this game really isn't worth it. The game itself looks like it came straight out of 2010, and the engine hasn't aged well either to the point that the game can't be saved with updates, but a straight-up remake. Thankfully, Bohemia has been hard at work, their newest product being, Sakhal, an idea (what if map but me add snow and cool?) that they ripped off a community map which is just as good and are selling for around 30 bucks. Yikes.

There is no singleplayer and the servers are, 1) Pure Vanilla where you are just as likely to die to a cheater as you are to be victim to admin abuse (and the Vanilla formula is pretty fkn stale imo), 2) Ultramodded unicorn vomit community servers with at least 9gigabytes of mods and so much random workshop ♥♥♥♥ like Naruto sleeping bags and skibidi toilet t-shirts that you start to wonder where the actual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game went, not to mention the 3000 hour sweatlords that play the game like its Rust with zombies (Which it is) dedicating the rest of their lives to taking pixels from one location to their dragon hoard and one-tapping everyone in their way.

As for the aspect that it advertises on, zombie survival, it is just extremely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mid. The zombie AI is beyond janky (and these are supposed to be mobs that see you and just run towards you and start attacking, it isn't that complicated) and base building is beyond lackluster to the point of almost not existing. This game has no singleplayer yet they didn't give you a meaningful option to lock doors and containers (lockpicks that get reset every restart don't count). ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ really?

The wilderness/abandoned urban survival aspect, not counting zombies, is actually not so bad. Having to locate a water source, cooking your meals, trying to keep yourself fed and hydrated and avoiding sickness, choosing warm clothing for winter, crafting... that's the only piece of fun and immersion I found within this excuse of a game.

I personally can't cough up 25 hours a day to dedicate to loothoarding and sweatlording in any of the servers (that I am not even interested in), and I find it quite hard to find a flavor of server that I like. 70k players are APPARENTLY playing this (at the date and hour of this review) but there are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of dead servers and those that are alive are divided by their flavor, language, platform (xbox or whatever), region (EU/US), etc. etc., so the game might as well be dead for me despite the graphs.

At the end of the day, this game just made me appreciate PZ more. Guess I'll give the B42 IWBUMS another shot.

tldr; Old, buggy game that can be summed up as "Rust but much worse and buggier, and we sprinkle zombies on top". Buy Project Zomboid if you want zombie survival or Rust if you just want to kill people or whatever they do.

Developer's got a pretty good idea, but the execution is beyond meh. The comic book style that was picked for this game about surviving after the apocalypse is a sore on the eyes, I couldn't help but think that I was playing a mobile game. I would expect a more serious tone from a game taking place in this setting, but it could be a matter of personal taste. I have also found that there is always some UI element shoved up in your face, its like driving as the car in front of you constantly tosses flyers at your windshield. Scrolled? Enjoy the weapons menu. In a car or house? Enjoy the "exit from x direction" menu that doesn't go away. The AI is also pretty stupid, but that, I can forgive. NPC AI is a pretty tricky thing from my understanding and I don't think "Bob" from "Ginormocorp Holdings Limited" is a game development demigod. The price is fair if you want to goof off for a few hours, I suppose.

It's an alright tech demo and atmos sim but gets real stale real quick, the bugs are very annoying and there are years-old bugs that have still not been addressed. You build your base, automate some stuff, and then that's it, that's the entire game (the game is not particularly well optimised either, so after a point the game will halt to a crawl). There are also basically no travel options, you can't even build a rover let alone a spaceship, so enjoy jetpacking for an infinite amount of time for long distance exploration.

The DLCs are just bad, its like they just spat them out whenever they were running low on money, the robot race can not wear IDs (you could just add like an ID-chipslot or something instead of the uniform slot). The other alien race breathes in VOLATILES and exhales NITROUS OXIDE. These gases do NOT require anything other than a spark to react with each other and burn everything, how did they even reach space without discovering fire?!

Dean Hall has two unfinished, buggy messes in his rear mirror (Icarus, this one...) and keeps practically begging the players for money and for them to buy the game on Itch, yet he recently announced that Kitten Space Agency would be free. I wouldn't expect anything out of KSA either.
